-Chapter 5-

Hello again!! :)

The conversation with the stranger on the train left you confused, even to the next morning. You wondered what his reason was for taking your picture and why he was chuckling so much.

"Whatever, it's not like I'll ever be seeing him again." You thought to yourself. You had other matters to think about. For example, today was your first day at Inarizaki High School. You would be meeting tons of new people and taking loads of new classes.

You would also be wearing a new uniform, which you ironed the night before. The outfit flashed a black skirt and button down blouse with a Carmel colored jacket over it. It was also required that students wore a red tie and black knee high socks with brown loafers.

You carefully slipped on the uniform and looked in the mirror. This attire really suited you! Now all that was left to do was your hair. You aggressively brushed your (h/c) locks (there were a few tangles) and fashioned it into your signature style.

After you were fully prepared, you headed into the kitchen to get some breakfast. You would be eating plain cereal today because you were afraid of getting food poisoning again. There was no way you would let yourself go to the hospital instead of the first day of your second year.

"Maybe I should take cooking lessons." You thought to yourself as you grabbed your bag off of the table. Right as you were crossing the kitchen, you saw the volleyball manager form sitting on the counter.

"I can't be the manager. I've suffered enough embarrassment at this school already." You whined to yourself. But your mother's nagging words kept picking at your brain. She really wanted the best for you and you didn't see her that often. It would make her proud of you and help her to appreciate how much of an adult you've become.

"Fine! I'll think about it." You grumbled to yourself as you shoved the form into your bag.

The walk to school was much more peaceful this time. Your stomach didn't feel heavy and you didn't feel sick. You were really excited to start your new journey. But as you entered the school gates, your stomach dropped.

There, standing among a few other guys, was the jerk who had hit you with the volleyball. But this time, he looked a little different. His hair was a silver color instead of blond. Your blood started to boil, and your entire body filled with rage.

"Hey, you!!!" You yelled at the stranger. (Here we go again, y/n)

The silver haired male and his friends turned in your direction. You stormed up to him, pushing through the group.

"I really don't appreciate you hitting me with that volleyball!!! What the hell was that even for!?! I could have been severely injured and you're seriously lucky that my parents aren't pressing charges!!!"

After listening to your tantrum, the silver haired male gave you a disgusted look and retailed with "Excuse me!?".

"Oh no, you're not excused from this one, hair dye! Speaking of which, maybe you should go to a professional next time instead of using that shitty box stuff over your sink! Also, the shitty blond suited you better than that shitty grey!"

At this point, you were making a huge scene. People were staring and laughing in your direction.

"Did she just yell at Miya?"

"Hahaha she called him hair dye!"

"How DARE she speak to a Miya like that!"

"Hey, she's kinda hawt."

The grey haired male was getting red in the face. Instead of yelling back, he let out a large scoff and shoved past the crowd.

"Yeah! You just run away!" You yelled, also pushing past the group.

"...Aran, what just happened?" One of the guys asked.

"I...I don't think she realizes there are two of them..." Aran hesitantly responded.

"Hey, did I miss anything?" Suna asked as he lazily walked up to the group.

Everyone in the group blinked a few times before Aran responded with "She came back...but this time for 'Samu"

Suna's heart dropped.

"What! I missed a throw down?" Suna whined.

Now that you had gotten your rage out for the morning, you felt a lot more calm. You had finally given that jerk what he deserved- a piece of your mind! You could finally go to class in pace, knowing you wouldn't have to bottle up your emotions anymore. The first bell would be ringing soon, so you decided to head to your first period class.

"English is in a classroom on the second floor." You thought to yourself as you made your way up the stairs. Because you were so focused on getting to your first period, you didn't realize all of the people staring and gossiping about you in the halls.

"Thats the girl who yelled at Osamu."

"Really? I thought she would be taller."

"Who does this new girl think she is, talking all big and bad to a Miya?"

When you finally got to the room, you decided to sit in that back. Bringing too much attention to yourself on the first day was not a top priority.

"Hey, can I sit by you?"

You looked up to see a small girl smiling at you. She had brown French braids that ended in two long pigtails. Her face was cute, but dignified and she looked young to be a second year in high school.

"Yeah, go ahead." You stated, not taking your eyes off of the girl.

"My names Akemi. I really liked what you said to Osamu this morning. Nothing pumps me up like telling off one of the stuck up popular guys!" She pronounced happily with a clenched fist.

"Right!? They think they're so entitled because they play sports or something. That guy really had it coming!" You declared with a proud smile.

"Yes! I love your spirit! You should consider joining the student government. I'm the vice president and I think you would be great on our team. We need more strong willed people like you on our side. I'll give you my number and if you want we can hang out sometime!"

You were a little surprised by how much energy this new girl had, but you were also excited to make a new friend.

"Sure, I'll consider it!" You replied while passing her your phone. "You can put your number in here and we can go to lunch together if you want."

Akemi took up your offer. She took your phone and put her digits into the contact screen. "I have a feeling we're going to be great friends!" She said through smiling teeth as the second bell rang.

"All right class, everyone take your seats. Let's start today's lesson."
