Hello again! <3

English class was nothing special. Everyone introduced themselves to the teacher and some general housekeeping was done. You started to walk to your next class, which was history. Once again, the class was easy. Just introductions and general matters were dealt with. Up next, you would be heading to the library for study hall.

As you walked the halls, you started to notice people looking at you. Some students were staring and few were pointing and smiling.

"I hope I don't have anything on my face." You worried to yourself as you entered the library. You pulled out your phone to check if you had sprouted a pimple or there was a crumb stuck to your face. To your relief, there was nothing there. But, that still didn't answer the question of why everyone was looking at you.

You took a seat at an empty table and scrolled through your phone. There was no work to be done at the moment, so you were free to relax for the rest of the period.

"Excuse me, are you (y/n) (l/n)?" Asked a deep voice from behind you.

"That would be me" You nervously said as you turned around in your chair. "Am I in trouble?"

Directly behind you stood a sure looking man with brown hair and glasses.

"Oh, quite the contrary." Said the man. "I'm Norimune Kurosu, the coach of the boy's volleyball team. Could I have a word with you in my office?"

"Um...sure. Are you sure I'm not in trouble? I kinda made a scene at your practice the other day" you said uneasily as you reminisced back to that moment. Now that you thought about it, your actions may have been a bit over the top. Especially with an adult watching.

The man simply chuckled and replied with "Oh, you're not in trouble. But, that is what I'd like to speak with you about."

The coach motioned for you to walk in his direction as he stared to turn around. You grabbed your bag and followed his lead.

"Right this way, (y/n)."

As soon as the two of you got to the office, he offered for you to take a seat in the chair in front of his desk.

"So, (y/n)." the coach said, "As I observed in practice the other day, it would seem that you're not a fan of Atsumu."

"If you're talking about the guy who hit me with the ball, then you would be correct." You replied with side eyes.

The coach chuckled a few times. "I'm sure it is. Do you know much about the Inarizaki Boy's Volleyball Team?"

You though for a second, then said "I know they're really good. My mom said they were really famous."

"Yes, we have many gifted players among us. And yes, they are pretty famous in the Japanese volleyball community." The coach sounded proud of the team. Then, he hesitated for a second. "Because of that, we have many...fans."

"Why do you say it like that? Isn't having fans a good thing?" You asked curiously.

"Well yes, it is nice to have people admire your hard work. But recently, there's been so many girl fans swarming Atsumu and the team, that it's hard to concentrate. In fact, we had to prohibit fans from watching the team practice because so many people were screaming and distracting the players from the game. Atsumu got extremely frustrated and served a ball straight into the stands."

"I'm not surprised that he would try to hit someone with a ball" You stated blankly. "But, what does this have to do with me?"

"I'm glad you asked." The coach smiled. "You see, we had a female student as the manager of the team, but we found out pretty soon that she was a wild fangirl. She kept flirting with the team instead of doing her work and even sold some of their belongings to the other fans."

You stared blankly at the coach.

He continued, "We haven't had a manager in a few months and I can't handle the workload on my own. I can't just ask anyone because that risks hiring another crazy fangirl. You on the other hand, are the opposite of that. You want nothing to do with him!" The coach started to laugh again. "So I was wondering if you would be able to be the new manager of the team."

You paused for a second.

"Thank you for the offer, but I'm not really sure that's what I'm looking for. I'm kind of afraid of getting hit again. Plus, I can't stand looking at that jerk's smug face." You said through a sigh.

"Well, think of it this way. If you join us, you'll be able to keep the boys in line. Give 'em hell if you need to! As long as you fulfill your duties, you can be as rotten as you want. I'm sure Kita will appreciate another leash being attached to Atsumu as well."

As soon as you hear the coach's words, your face lit up. You were just given permission to make Atsumu's life as miserable as possible, as long as you did a little paperwork and filled up a few water bottles.

"You know what? I'll take you up on your offer! In fact," You pulled the manager form out of your bag with an evil grin, "I'll sign the paper right now!"

Thanks for reading! I'll probably publish the next chapter in the next few days to make the story move along. :)
