Merry Christmas Eve! Here's an early chapter! <3
After listening to your teacher talk at you for an hour, Journalism and the school day was over. Now it was time to fill your role at the dreaded volleyball practice.
Suna picked up his satchel bag and left the classroom without another word. A minute later, you did the same and made your way to your locker to put away your school belongings. Akemi was waiting for you, holding a piece of paper.
"So (y/n), how was class?" She asked with a smile on her face.
"Alright. Unfortunately that Suna guy is in my Journalism class."
"Suna, huh? He doesn't really talk much, at least when I've seen him. He's always been pretty awkward now that I think about it." Akemi said with her hand rested on her chin.
"Really? He had a lot to say to me. We're partners for a project apparently." You unenthusiastically stated.
"Hmm good luck with that. Anyway, I brought you a form to join student council." Akemi shoved a piece of paper into your hands.
Inarizaki High Student Council Registration Form
"I'm still not sure about this. I might be pretty busy with this whole manager thing." You commented as your read through the form.
"Aww (y/n) please? It's not that much work, plus it's really fun. You get to hold power over the rest of the student body and get to plan parties!" Akemi begged.
"All right I give in, but only because I have to go to practice." You sighed.
"Yes! The first meeting is this Thursday to plan for the school's fall festival. Do you want me to walk you to the gym." Akemi squealed enthusiastically.
"I think I'll be fine. Besides, you probably have another club to go to." You smiled.
"Oh, you're right! My tennis club starts in 10 minutes. Good luck with the guys!" Akemi yelled as the ran down the halls.
"She's quite the character." You laughed to yourself in your head. This school sure was different from your last one.

The anticipation was killing you. The walk to the gym had you shaking and worrying about your position as the team manager. What if Osamu didn't accept your apology. Or you accidentally mistook him for his brother again.
As you approached the gym, you began to form an elaborate apology to gain his forgiveness.
"As long as I'm sincere and tell him what's on my mind, I should be fine." You thought to yourself as your face began to turn a shade of crimson.
Finally, you had arrived at the gym. Those doors covered the sound of volleyballs banging on the floor and feet shuffling, all the same sounds as the last time you visited. The only thing missing was the sound of the twins yelling.
"HEY! GIVE ME THAT VOLLEYBALL BACK 'SAMU! IT'S MY LUCKY ONE!"
"SHUT UP! NOTHING COULD EVER MAKE YOU PLAY BETTER YA DONUT"
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?!"
"HEY I SAID NO ARGUING! THE NEW MANAGERS GONNA GET SCARED OFF AGAIN!"
"Sorry Kita..."
You couldn't help but chuckle at the events unfolding inside. Now it was just like last time. Only now, you hadn't eaten any fish before arriving.
With a sudden burst of confidence, you pushed open the gym doors and made your way inside.
