When Rick ended the phone call with her daughter, he went back to his friends. - Castle! Castle! -He was almost there when he heard her wife's best friend yelling his name. He immediately started to run to the crowd which was standing in a circle. When he arrived he saw Kate lying in the sand. - Oh My God, Beckett! - he got in on the sand and held his wife into his arms. He got her into an almost sitting position. - Kate, wake up, please! Can you hear me?? - he started to freak out - Somebody calls an ambulance! - he yelled and looked at his friends. - What happened? And please people back off, give her some air! - he didn't take his eyes off Kate. - We were dancing then I saw that she is not okay, and then she collapsed. - Lanie told him what happened while she was fanning Beckett with a tray. - Kate, babe, wake up, please. - he stroked her face with his thumb after he put her hair behind her ear. - Castle - she woke up, searching for her husband immediately, with her sore voice. - I'm here, I'm right here. - he stroked her face and kissed her on the forehead with a big relief, hugging her laying body close to his. - Kate are you okay? - Jenny asked first. - I-I don't know. - she tried to look around but she got dizzy. - Are you ready to stand up? - her husband was still stroking her face. - Are you gonna help me? - she was still weak and didn't trust herself. - Of course, come. - he helped his wife and they stood up together. - I'm dizzy, so don't let go of me. - she held her husband as much as she could. - Never. - he held her closer and they went to sit down at a table. - Here you go girl, drink some water. - Lanie gave her a glass of water. - Thanks, Lane. - she drank the water and then looked at Castle. - Rick, I'm okay, relax. - she held one of his hands and stroked his face with the other. - Kate, you just collapsed from nowhere, don't tell me to relax. - he was still freak out. - But nothing happened, I fell onto the sand, I don't even have a bruise. - she tried to convince him about her welfare. - We called an ambulance, they should be here- they didn't pick up. - Nate cut Castle off. - Can't we just go home? Please. - she nearly begged her husband. - Can you walk? - he stood up, preparing himself physically and mentally if his wife will start falling. - I guess. - she stood up and started to walk slowly. - You guys want us to help with something? - Gates spoke in the name of them. - Yes, please enjoy the party, and don't think about me. Just like it didn't happen. Please. - Kate looked at her friends, who were scared a little. - We will try. Now go, get some rest! - Ryan smiled at them and the Castles started their way home. - You okay? - Rick was asking her every 5 minutes. - Rick, stop it. - she gave him her look, at least she tried. He didn't respond to her, just kept walking up the stairs. - God, it's beautiful. - they got to the top, and the night view was in front of them - Can we stay here for a bit? - she asked as they walked to the edge of the foreground and stoped at the railing. They stood there, Castle hands never let go of Beckett's waist. As soon as they reached the railing, she snuggled to her husband, her hands on his chest, his hands around her waist. - It's so magical. - she put her head to his chest, his chin was resting on her head.  - You won't talk to me anymore? - she kept talking when Castle didn't say a word - I'm sorry if I scared you. - she lifted her head so she could see his face. He was stroking her cheek with his right hand and she leaned on his touches. - You know that I love you, right? No matter what, even if we are fighting or we are mad at each other. - he asked her, looking into her eyes. - I know, and I love you too. - she smiled at him and held his hand which was on her face. They both could feel it was their moment. Their moment to realize what they mean to each other, the moment when he forgave her, and the moment when she forgave herself. They looked deep into each other's eyes when he started to lean closer, and she did the same. Their lips became one, after months of absence. The kiss was slow and it was full of emotion. It didn't last long, but it was enough for them to calm down because of the fright that just happened. - Let's go inside, shall we? - he spoke first, their forehead leaned against the other. She nodded and they started walking to the house, hand-in-hand. - Want to eat something? - he asked as he closed to door behind them. - No, thanks. Can we just lay down? I still don't feel the best. - she pointed at their bedroom after she took off her sandals. - Sure. - he smiled and went after her. They changed into their pajamas, he turned on the Tv and laid next to his wife. She immediately laid her head onto his chest, he automatically hugged her closer and started to stroke her arm up and down. She didn't even mind watching the show what Castle was watching, she was way too tired for it. As soon as she felt safe in his arms, she dozed off.
