"Stop kicking, fuck." It's just a voice, she can't see him in the face but it's surely a man.
"I said, stop it." His grip around her throat tightened, causing salty tears to roll down her eyes. The smoke which filled her lungs made it already hard to breathe.
"He promised." Her voice came out strangled, broken by the hand around her neck and the sobs that rolled out of her mouth.
"He promised." She repeated. Her head hanging low, giving in completely at the man's hold on her. She had no choice, anyway, right?
"Oh poor you, believing your friend, believing all of them." The mocking tone hit her like a knife straight to her heart. She tried to fight him, moving randomly, as if she could stop him from talking shit about the people she cared about the most.
"No, he'll save me."
"He-he promised."
"He's a traitor, pretty girl. It runs in the family blood." She didn't answer back, too tired and by now breathless, but she knew he was wrong.
He had promised her.

She snapped her eyes open, her chest was moving frenetically and she could feel her cheeks being wet. The stinging pain in the middle of her chest made her want to scream but when she opened her mouth nothing came out of it.
Scanning the room around her frantically she tried to see if the emerald girl was still there behind the glass, but no one seemed to hide behind the screen.
Then something grabbed her arms, it was a firm hold around her wrist that caused her to freeze at the spot.
"Hey, everything is fine." A soft low voice calmed her, her chest slowing down from moving so fast, and the sensation in the chest starting to be not so painful.
Turning around, her gaze met one pair of eyes she had never seen before. Her breath got stuck in her lungs again, but not for a painful reason.
The boy in front of her was so beautiful, nothing compared to the terrible things she had seen in her life. His skin was smooth like porcelain and seemed so soft at the touch. His dark blue hair fit his angelic face perfectly and made him look unreal. His eyes were a warm chocolate brown, completely different from the emerald sphere that haunted her in her sleep.
His eyes scanned her from head to toe, a strange light behind them, and a curious look on his face. He had been looking at her behind that screen for two days now, but he had never been so close to the outsider. And now that he was one touch away from her face he felt something so familiar in that stranger.
"Do I know y–" His whisper got interrupted by the door slamming open, the loud sound causing her to jump slightly in her seat. Their attention was now at the entering of the room where Sicheng stood with Jaemin at his side.
"What's going on?" The older asked, making his way closer to the outsider and his friend.
"I don't know. She was moving on the bed and crying, I panicked." The angel boy talked, his voice reminding her of a soft velvety texture. She stared at him intensely then her eyes moved to the others two who entered the room.
"Hey," the brown-haired started saying, as his hands searched for something in the bag he carried with him. "Remember us?" Sicheng's eyes met hers, his gaze was caring and his lips were curled in a warm smile. She felt safe now. That place wasn't so bad, maybe.
"No," she let out in a cry, her voice had no intention to come out of her mouth properly and she was getting sick of it. A confused look appeared on the man face as his eyebrow frowned.
