Chapter 6 - Villain

Aizawa tried to talk to me as we walked back to class together.  I couldn't really refuse his company, since we both were going the same way.

"What did he say to you Eva?"

"When?", i asked trying to delay the answer.

"When we were all hypnotized Eva! We could see you talking to each other, but we couldn't hear it", he said stopping to face me.

"It was probably your imagination", i said walking into class. Momo was the first to come up to me. It was obvious that they must've heard what had happened by the other teachers who were there. "Eva-san are you okay? We heard the villain attacked you all and....", she carried on but i zoned out. I couldn't hear what she were saying, i was more focused on the villain part. I wanted to call Megumi, and ask him about grandfather but something about telling people i was related to him, this villain, gave me an uneasy feeling.

I decided to keep this news to myself and try to find the old lady before telling anyone.

After changing into my hero costume to do training with the rest of the class, i teleported to Aizawa before the class began training. I told him I wouldn't be able to help the class get home today after school, because i had plans. He agreed and told the class not to practice too hard today. We were grouped in pairs to train and everyone moved with their teammate to an assigned station to begin training. All except, myself and Katsuki. He smirked as he looked over at me and then began walking towards our station, i followed a few feet behind him.

Once i was standing in front of him he smirked, "looks like your little friend forgot to cover up those ones", he said. Looking down to where he pointed, i noticed the bruises on my legs were quite visible because of my hero costume which exposed my legs. I just shook my head. "So, want me to take it easy on you after last night? Or is your legs good to go?", his dirty talk didn't get a reaction out of me. I was more concerned about finding the old lady.

"Aizawa said the first person to go over that line," i pointed to the line behind him and the other one behind me, "would win the round".

He smirked and nodded.

I turned around and walked straight over the line. The machine signaled loud enough to notify Aizawa that Katsuki won. He wasn't happy with this, i could tell that by the expression on his face.
"Sorry Katsuki, i need to get home early today", i said walking away. Something about that made me feel hurt inside. I don't know what it was but it hurt.

"Eva-kun!", i heard Momo's voice. I stopped walking and turned to her, "you going to wait for me right?", she asked from the other side of the room. Hearing the shout, Aizawa and the rest of my classmates who were in earshot, turned and waited for my answer. I looked down, letting my dark brown hair fall to my sides, my cap sloppily on my head covering my eyes. "Not today Momo-kun". Her eyes went wide and before she could protest,  i teleported myself home. I went to my room, and took out a bag in the bottom of my closet. It was my iron gloves and iron boots. I slipped it on, i always kept a pair at school and one at home in sense of emergencies. I always liked to be prepared.

Honestly, i wasn't sure if this was an emergency at all, but finding that woman was the top priority.

I took a small black backpack and filled it with chocolate bars and sweets from the kitchen cupboard. Megumi stared at my odd behavior and only asked me where i was going once i walked to the front door.

"I have plans"

"Plans with your hero costume huh?"

I ignored him and walked out of the door. My hair blowing in the wind and my long leather jacket blowing out behind me gave my shadow the same look Hero Killer 2.0 had. It was weird.

I teleported to the last place i saw the woman, the alleyway. Right there, i saw "weapon" grandfather used in order for me to believe he was going to attack her. I picked it up and put it in my backpack. I remembered the car the lady got into after she waved to me- a black 2000 sudan with tinted windows. I teleported to the roof of a tall building and looked down in search of a car that could fit the description. In about 2-3 blocks away, on the corner, parked the black sudan. I teleported next to it and looked inside. Barely able to see anything, i lifted my arm to open the car door. And surprisingly, it opened. On the seat, there was a cash receipt from Ally's Diner, a nearby restaurant with horrible food. Seeing that this was the only thing in the car that i could find, i was able to teleport to the diner because I've been there once before. When i reached there, i saw people in the restaurant happily ordering. I went inside and sat down, unsure of what to do here and starting to doubt if this was a lead at all.

It didn't take long for a male to come up to me, dressed in a waiter's uniform, smiled and asked me for my order. I didn't even know what to order, or if i wanted to order at all! Without thinking, i threw my hands against the table in frustration, sending the receipt in its own direction. The waiter grabbed it in attempt to stop it from flying away, in case it was important.

He handed it back to me after stealing a glance at it.
