"You boys look rather tired today." Lance and Ash's mother commented, sliding scrambled eggs onto their plates.
"Hmmm." Ash responded, Still partially asleep.
He felt Lance's foot sharply dig into his calf under the table and he jumped in his seat. Lance raised his eyebrows at him as if to say to keep his mouth shut.
"Did you even sleep last night?" Their mother confined to ramble on about the importance of getting a good night's sleep. "You're lucky it's Saturday!"
Their father then entered the kitchen from the hallway. He had most likely been working in his office all night, judging by his tired eyes. "Good morning, boys."
"Morning." They both responded flatly, stabbing at their eggs distastefully. They had stayed in the new horror attraction all night goofing around and exploring, despite Ash's various protests. In all honesty, the place scares him and whenever he saw Spring Trap, shivers ran down his spine. The worst part about his situation was that he had to return that night with Lance to do more exploring and make sure he didn't do anything stupid.

He twitched in his bed. His dream was causing him some discomfort, but he couldn't force his eyes to open. He could only pray he would wake up soon. He was standing in front of a roaring fire. The heat was scorching his skin and he lept back, surprised that he was so close. He scanned the fire and he could hear the sounds of children's laughter. He spun around, but no one lurked in the shadows until he faced the fire again. Squinting against the ashes that were flying into the night air, he faintly saw a bulky outline. Looking closer, he gasped. He recognized those soulless, amber eyes in an instant. Spring trap was engulfed in the flames. Gaping at the large animatronic, he backed away, frightened. He tried to remind himself that it was only a dream but it all seemed so.. Real. He made an attempt to run but the robot was faster. It lept from the flames, easily clearing the few feet it had to jump. Grabbing Ash, it pulled him close to it's scarred face. It's breath was putrid, which was odd considering it was only an animatronic. "Unstoppable." It murmured.
"Ash? Bro, wake up!" He heard Lance calling to him from reality. His eyes fluttered open to the muscled silhouette of his brother, who looked concerned.
Ash scrambled up to lean against the bed frame, looking around to make sure everything was normal.
"Easy, you look like you saw a ghost." Lance laughed nervously.
"I'm fine." Ash grumbled, swinging his legs off the side of the bed.
"Okay then." Lance eyed him speculatively. "Anyways, get up and get some shoes on. We're going back to Fazbear's Fright."
Already? He looked to his alarm clock and felt his heart drop. It was ten o'clock and his parents were already fast asleep. He could even hear his dad snoring in the other room.
"Be quiet."Lance hissed warningly, before disappearing downstairs, silent as a cat.
"Be quiet. Suck one, Lance." Ash mocked him, grunting as he struggled to slip his sneakers on. He sleepily combed through his hair so he didn't look too bad when he saw Sabrina.
He envisioned her long, fiery red hair, her sparkling green eyes and sighed in admiration. He shook his head, smiling and briefly forgot his nightmare.
