"Stop! You sick bastard! They're only kids!" Ash attempted to leap at the man bringing the knife down on a small girl. Only he could not stop what had already happened, he stayed in his place, unable to move.
"Stop! Stop hurting them!" Ash screamed, swinging at the man as he stalked by to grab another child.
Suddenly he felt, hot breath tickle the back of his neck. It made his stomach flip as he turned to face a young man with sides wept black hair and piercing blue eyes. A long scar was etched across his cheek and his menacing look caused Ash to pull away immediately.
His lips curled into an evil grin. "You can't change the past, Ash."
Then he opened his eyes, drenched in sweat, he blinked awake. His father was anxiously pacing the room while Sabrina was gazing down at him.
"He's awake!" Sabrina cried, relieved, helping him sit up.
Still dazed, he vaguely wondered where he was, then he felt the empty feeling seep into his heart. That's right. Lance. He held his head in his hands, not bothering to assure them he was alright.
"What happened?" Katie asked, even she was worried.
"The bastard didn't even give them a chance." Ash sobbed, his chest heaving. He couldn't hold it in anymore. He'd lost to much.
"Who?" Sabrina soothed him gently.
He ignores her question and continued shiver as his sobs racked through his body. "He's here. It's Spring Trap." He was sure of it.
"What? You're acting crazy.." Katie began to offer him a seat.
"No! I know what I saw! I know what he wants!" Ash shook his head, wiping away his tears.
"Please explain." His father's eyes were wild with fear. "What exactly have I done, opening this place back up?"
Katie and Sabrina looked at Ash expectantly.
"He wants a show." Ash pointed to the animatronic suits that were standing eerily. "We're the main attraction."
"Sadistic fuck." Katie managed to joke numbly.
"A final act." Sabrina nodded her understanding, obviously frightened by this news.
