Colby hangs up and continues playing music. I pull up to (random place) and we order. We get our food and I start driving to my house.

"Wait, does your mom know your talking to Sam again now?", Colby asks.

"Im sure she does considering Im talking to you again, she wanted to spend the day with us anyway. Im sure she would like to see Sam"

"True, it'll be like old times", Colby says.

"Yeah", I agree.

Yeah, old times. Before you guys left. Let's hope that doesn't happen again..

We pull up to my house and I see sam and Kat aren't here yet but there's another car, it's probably one of my moms friends. I start to get out but Colby stops me.

"Are you okay? You looked like you were daydreaming on our way here", he asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine", I say,

"You sure? Is it me?", he asks.

I shut my door back and turn my body towards him, "Colby I'm fine", he grabs my hand, "Promise?"

I smile, "I promise".

He smiles and kisses me, I try to pull away and he doesn't let me, I giggle and push him away, "Colby we have to go inside". He groans, "Fine".

We walk inside and I hear my mom talking to someone. We walk to the dining room and I see Colbys mom. "Oh shit", Colby says under his breath. My mom smiles at us, "hey kids! Why are y'all home so early?", Colbys mom turns around and smiles, "hey guys!". I see Colby out of the corner of my eye and he looks like he's about to die, "my mom said she was off today so we was gonna spend the day with her", I say. "Am I in trouble mom?", Colby asks, I think it's funny how afraid he gets of her, "No it's okay", his mom says with a smile. "Well we're gonna go up to my room", I say, they nod and we go upstairs.

Once we get to my room I set the food on my side table and start laughing, Colby looks at me like I'm a crazy person.

"Why are you laughing?", he asks.

"It's funny how scared you are of your mom", I say laughing.

"I'm not scared of her!", he says defensively.

"Yes you are! You always have been"

He walks up to me, "I'm not scared of anyone"

"It's okay, I know your a mommas boy"

He furrows his brows and I smile, "You always have been, nothing wrong with it. It's cute", I wrap my arms around his neck and peck his lips. He smiles and my phone goes off. I walk over and open it, "who is it?", Colby asks. "It's just Kat, she said they got stuck in traffic so it'll be a bit before they get here, I texted back okay", he nods and I lay my phone down. I lay on my back on my bed and Colby lays beside me.

"So does that mean we'll be alone for a bit?", Colby asks.

"I mean beside our moms downstairs-", I get cut off by my mom walking in my room.

"Hey honey, we're gonna go shopping for about a hour". I say okay and she shuts the door. "So?", Colby asks. "To answer your question, yes, we are alone now", I say. "So now you don't have a excuse", he says smirking, running his fingers through my hair, I giggle, "I guess not". He grins and gets on top of me kissing me.
