Chapter 26: Family Bonding

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

A loud, annoyed groan is heard as a hand popped out of the sheets of a royal looking bed and hit the alarm clock with too much force as the button and top half cracked.

"Shit." A groggy, husky voice cursed after they heard the cracking, they popped out of the sheets as a whole and revealed the one and only Alcor who looked so pissed and done with life.

The blonde teen groaned again as he flicked his hand, the alarm clock fixed back normal as if he hadn't punched it a few seconds ago. After that, he got out of bed and took a shower. After the shower, he changed into his usual attire.

He now wore a red shirt behind a black leather fur jacket, and grey skinny jeans with red sneakers. He still had the pinetree hat on since it made him feel complete.

"Good morning, Dad." Alcor greeted as he walked down the stairs, finding his father cooking breakfast like always, wearing that ridiculous white apron that said in yellow: 'I put GOLD in my dishes so it would taste PRICELESS!', Alcor's first reaction to it was similar to his mother's the first time he saw it, Incredulous.

"Gooooood mornin, Sapling~" Bill returned in a sing-sing tone as he turned off the stove. Now, he could've made his life easier by snapping some breakfast for them, but it was much better making it manually, also, magic food tastes bland if you ask him.

"Just in time for breakfast! Now dig in!" He grinned widely as he placed their plates on the dining table, then took a seat right after removing his ✨fabulous✨ apron (or so he says).

"You've improved a lot in your cooking skills, I'm honestly impressed." Alcor complimented as he took a seat beside his father, who had a proud grin. "Thanks for the food." He added as he grabbed his utensils and started eating.

Now lets go over some things before continuing. It has been about 2 weeks since Alcor found his parents, reunited with them, and left the Pines. They spent their days training the younger demon's powers since they didn't want to accidentally destroy a universe, not like last time where it was near 90%. And where is Will? Well you should already know he's with his 'masters', he would sometimes call when he's free for some time, but other than that, they haven't seen each other since the day after Weirdmageddon.

Although that might just change today.

"Hey, Sapling, I got a call from your mother this morning. It seems the Gleeful twins will be having a show today, which also means—"

"He's free the next 3 hours?" Alcor finished for him, the hope and excitement in his calm voice leaking out as he turned to his father with starry eyes, which made the older demon grin.

"Yup!"

"Then that means..."

"We can finally have a family bonding together!" Bill replied as he wiped his mouth and stood up, which Alcor mirrored.

"Really!?"

"Excited now aren't we?"

"Of course I would! I haven't seen Mom in weeks!"

"Good point, I also miss him. So lets not waste anymore time and get ready!" Bill prompted as he pushed Alcor towards the stairs. "Don't have to tell me twice!" The younger replied as he raced through the stairs and turned the corner. "Careful!" The older demon added.
