The Call

Three days have passed since the Comic Con and every time your phone rings you flinch, thinking it's Tom. But most of the time it's Nora, your best friend, who want's to know if he already called you.

"No Nora he has not called yet", you sigh quietly. "Okay, but don't worry, he will call, believe me. It's only been three days. You told me how kind and sweet he was, I don't think he's gonna forget or cancel.", you hear her voice through the phone while opening the door to your hotel room. You put the key on a shelf and take your shoes off. "Yeah, i hope so. I still can't believe he actually asked me to meet him again." "He will call you, believe me.", you hear some noises in the background as she was talking. "Hm. Hey how is Loki actually? I really miss him.", you change the topic. "Oh he's great. But I think he misses you too", she laughs "Actually I was about to go on a walk with him, it's already 8pm" 

You forgot about the time difference. It's already evening in Germany. "Yeah sure, have fun. I'll send you a message if he calls me". "Yes do that. Okay i have to go now, bye" she responds. "Bye", you hang up.

You decide to take a shower to think about everything for a while. When you get out of the shower you feel a little bit relieved from all the stress and excitement of the last few days.

But it doesn't last long, because you hear your mobile phone ringing. You run out of the bathroom as fast as you can and almost slip. Wearing only a towel, you run to your mobile. Unknown number. Omg, could that be him?!  You take a deep breath and pick up the call.

"Hello? It's Y/N.", your voice is a little shaky. "Hey Y/N.", you hear Tom's voice, "how are you?". Omg it's actually him!  "Uh, I'm fine thanks, and you?", you answer. "I'm great, thanks. Hey, I wanted to ask you if you are free tomorrow and if you want to go to a café with me." You could swear that you hear him smile while he's talking. "Yes of course. Tomorrow would be perfect". You two set up a time and a place to meet. "Great. I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow Y/N. See you". "Yes me too! Bye.". He hangs up and you still need a moment to realise what just happened.

You write a message to Nora and the rest of the day you are busy, trying to figure out what you should wear tomorrow. You only brought a few things because you thought you were only staying for the convention.
