Meeting again

The next day you get up early to shower and get ready. You decide to wear your favourite jeans, combined with a cute beige tight-fitting top and your sneakers. It's nothing special, but you feel comfortable in this outfit and it doesn't look boring.

You planned to meet at a small café on Houston street at 12 o'clock. So you get a taxi and after 20 minutes you arrive at the café. Tom is already sitting at a small table, so you pay the driver quickly and walk over to him.

"Hey Y/N.", he greets you with a friendly voice. "Hi Tom, it's so nice to see you again.", you smile at him and he immediately smiles back at you. Your eyes meet for a second. Gosh his smile is so beautiful.

He stands up to pull out your chair before you could say something else. "Oh, wow thank you", you blush a little and take a seat. It's a beautiful summer noon, but you can already see a few brown leaves on the trees, and you feel a light breeze running through your hair.

"So, how are you? Did you do anything fun here in New York?", he sits dow aswell and runs with his hands through his naturally ginger hair. "I'm great thank you. But no not really actually. I've been talking on the phone a lot with my best friend, Nora.", you decide to leave out the fact that he was the topic of all your conversations with Nora since you were in New York.

"Well, how is Loki?", he asks jokingly, "you said your best friend is taking care of him.". Oh he remembered, that's cute. You laugh; "he's fine, but I really miss him". A waitres is coming out of the café, so Tom asks you: "Do you wanna order something to drink?". "Oh yes, I'd love to", you respond with a smile. 

Tom orderes a cappuccino, your order an iced coffee and a bagel because you haven't had anything for breakfast yet. You two talk a bit about New York and the convention. You have some questions about the filming of the different movies he was in, and he answerd them all patiently.

At some point the topic changes and you talk more about private life. Or at least about your private life. "Now it's my turn to ask the questions.", he laughs. You giggle; "Well I'd say that's only fair. So go, what do you wanna know about me?", you say challengingly, trying to put on a serious look.

"Well i don't know. Maybe what do you do for a living? And if you have any big plans for the future.", he says with a purposely excessive British accent. You have to laugh but then you think for a moment. "Hm, so I studied biologie for about four years, but I'm still searching for a Job and I'm currently living with Nora. That costs less.", you say laughing. "But I don't really have any plans for the future yet. All I know is that I want to emigrate, somewhere where they speak English. Like I said, maybe America or England, i don't know yet. And I want to drive a Camaro someday.", the last part you say silently, jokingly.

He laughs; "A Carmaro? Well you gotta set some goals in life..." You have to laugh too; "Hey, how did you hear that?" You punch him playfully. You have a lot of fun with him and you really enjoy talking to him. He's just so kind and has a really cute personality. You also recognized that everytime he laughs, his baby blue eyes light up.

"Well I'm still working on my plans for the future. But Nora will arrive here in New York at Saturday, she is visiting her Cousin and she will also bring Loki. I will stay with her for a couple of weeks and after that we go back to Germany together.", you tell him, but you feel a little sad thinking about going back home after you met Tom.

Your eyes meet and he doesn't look away. The look in his eyes becomes more soft. "Well, I guess if you like to we could go for a walk with our dogs sometime, as long as you're still here.". You look at him surprised but happy. You feel your heart beating stronger again. "Uh yes, that would be great. I'd love that.". He continues saying: "And I also have to meet the dog that was practically named after me." You both laugh.

"I really enjoyed this today", you say as you rummage in your bag, still a little uncertain and shy. "Yes I agree, it was really nice to get to know you a little better.", he smiles at you very sweetly. Omg what is happening here?! He asked me 'out' again.

When you have paid, you say goodbye with a short hug. "I'm looking forward to meet Loki", he calls after you as you get in a taxi. "Well I'm looking forward to introducing you to him.", you answer laughing and the taxi drives away.

You take out your phone to call Nora immediately and tell her everything.

"What do you mean with he asked you again?!", she almost shouts in to the telephone excited.
