Spending time together

There are still two weeks left until the premiere and Tom is home most of the time. You watch your favourite movies together and cook something. 

You've had nightmares again. But you didn't scream or cry in your sleep like the last time, you just woke up many times and couldn't get back to sleep. Almost every night you woke up at least once and it's exhausting. You haven't told Tom yet, and you don't really know why.

When you come back from a late walk with the dogs, on a rainy evening, Tom already made spaghettis and set the table. 

"Oh this smells great, I'm starving." you say and get out of your jacket which is soaked wet from the rain. After drying the dogs paws with the old towel next to the door, you slip into your slippers and go to the kitchen where Tom is already waiting.

You thankfully take the plate with hot spaghettis in your ice cold hands and start to eat. Tom chuckles, "Bon Appétit"

After dinner Tom washes the dishes and you say: "I'll go take a shower. I'm freezing" He turns his head "Yeah sure, do that. Movie later?", he asks. You shake you head and chuckle "Sorry, but I have to continue searching for a job". "Mh okay, maybe tomorrow.", he smiles.

After a hot shower you sit down with your laptop and continue your search for a research lab to work at. But it's not that easy to find something if you don't even know for which country you should search.

Almost two hours later you wrote down three laboratorys which you find interesting and want to inform yourself about. When you look at the clock it's almost midnight. You close your laptop and get ready for bed.

In the night you wake up again, sweating. This time you can't remember what you were dreaming about but your heart is still running. Looking at the clock you can see it's just 3am. You sigh and a tear is rolling down your cheek.

After a few minutes of just sitting in the darkness, you slowly get up and sneak out of your room.

Trying not to wake the dogs, you go to Tom's room and knock on the door. A moment later a really sleepy Tom appears at the door. "Hey Y/n, is everything okay?", he asks whispering and rubs his eyes.

"Is it okay if I sleep here tonight? I had nightmares again and I just..." you sigh again and fiddle with your t-shirt. "Yes of course darling. Come in.", Toms look softens and he openes the door completely. 

You smile at him thankfully and go into his room to crawl up in his bed. After he closed the door he joins you and takes you in his arms. You cuddle up to him and breathe in his scent. You can hear the rain pattering against the window and after a few minutes you finally fall asleep.

"Good Morning sleeping beauty.", Tom whisperes and chuckles as he strokes your hair out of your face, when you slowly open your eyes. You have to yawn and try to look up to him, but it's still to bright for your eyes. You are laying in his arms, resting your head on his chest. "Mornin", you mumble into his t-shirt.

The two of you are laying there together just cuddling for a long time.

"Are you excited for the premiere?", Tom asks and looks at you. "Yes, a little bit. I think it's pretty exciting to see everything not just at Youtube or smth." you smile in thought of the upcoming premiere. "And I've also always wanted to meet Lizzie"

Tom chuckles, "I'll introduce you to her. She's great.". "That would be awesome, thank you.", you smile.

After a while you two get up. You go to your room and pet Loki who's following you. You change quickly and meet Tom and Bobby at the door to go for a walk. "Now come on Loki, let's go.", you chuckle because Loki is chasing his tail.

When you two are on the way back, tom stops and says "Hey, wanna stop by at a café to get a coffe?"

You turn around to him because Loki already walked to the next Street light to sniff on it and pee on the spot where another dog has peed before. "Oh, yes I would love to." you answer and try to hold Loki back who has spotted another dog across the street. Tom chuckles and helps you.

You two found a cute little café and enter it. Tom orderes two coffes to go, he turns around to you "Iced coffe?" he aks, and it sounds like he would ask for the answer of a test. You have to laugh, "Correct". He grins and pays for the coffe. When you are about to leave the café a shy waitress walks towards Tom. "Uhm Tom? Would you mind to give me an autograph?", she asks obviously nervous. Tom chuckles "Of course. What's you name?" he answers with a friendly voice. "Alice", you hear the girl say. After he gave her the autograph they take a picture together and she thanks him. You wait next to them and feel a little awkward.

Back at the hotel you feed the dogs eat something for breackfast too. Tom takes a shower and you text Nora. There is a book laying in your bag which you already forgot about. You decide to start reading it and go over to the couch.

The bathroom door openes and Tom comes out with a towel around his waist, he goes to his room to get some clothes and leaves a trail of wet footprints. You catch yourself watching him, over your book. Damn he looks good.

A few hours later you are still sitting on the sofa reading. The book is actually much better than you thought. Meanwhile Loki cuddled up on your legs. Tom also joins you and chuckles when he sees Loki, "Good book?" he asks looking back at you. His eyes meet yours and you get little butterflies in your stomach. His hair is still very curly from the shower and it looks really good. "Mhm, better than i thought", you smile and blush a little.

You thought you had gotten used to seeing Tom every day, but you were wrong. He still gives you butterflies like when you first met him.

"I really like your natural curly hair.", you say softly and blush a little more. Tom smiles immeadiately "Really? Thank you." He looks you in the eyes "I think it looks really cute when you blush."

Your heart drops for a second. Wait. "You can see that?", you say a little emberassed. Tom laughs "Yes. And I think it looks really pretty.", he repeats. "Oh uhm" you chuckle "Thank you."

That's the new part, I hope you like it ♥
