"Kacchan!" the young boy shouted as he looked around the park for his best friend, Katsuki Bakugou. He had just gotten out of the hospital and wanted to tell him about his quirk. But instead of an answer from Katsuki, Izuku heard someone cry out in pain.

There he was, Katsuki Bakugou, standing over a black haired boy their age, two others standing next to him, snickering at the boy's pain when another one of Katsuki's explosions collided with the boy's face.

"Kacchan! Stop that!" Izuku cried out, running towards the four and tackling the ash blond off the boy. "Get off me, Izu! I was teaching that quirkless wanna-be hero a lesson!" Katsuki yelled, pushing the greenette away with his quirk. He turned towards the skinny black haired boy, a devilish grin on his face, making the boy stumble backwards, before the beating started once again.

"Get off him!" Izuku yelled at his friends, small tears forming in his eyes and green light swirling around his hands like fireflies. But Katsuki just ignored him, instead his grin only grew wider as his fist flew towards the boy once again.

"I said, get off him!" he cried out once again, this time shooting a blast of green out of his hands towards Katsuki and making him fly into a tree with a sickening crack. Izuku panted heavily from the sudden outburst of his quirk.

He quickly went to the quirkless boy, but instead of thanking him, he just looked scared of Izuku before he ran away. The small smile Izuku had worn faded, leaving him staring at his hands.

In the next second, his small hands were big hands, a white button up shirt and a black jacket covering his arms. "Brother! You have to stop this!" He heard a hoarse voice spoke, before a skinny light haired man appeared infront of Izuku in the darkness. He had the same look in his eyes, he was scared of what was infront of him. Izuku could feel a grin form on his lips, unable to control it, the big hand slowly moved towards the smaller man, red and black lightning flickering around it.

His eyes wandered across the room, he was sure that his dream had ended but he wasn't in the park anymore, instead he was lying on a couch in what seemed like a huge library. "H-Hello?" he asked into the the gloomy lit building. Abruptly the whole place lit up as a pale boy, just a few years older than Izuku, stepped into view. He couldn't have been older than 15, but something about him seemed off.

Izuku's eyes scanned the boy from head to toe, from the messy brown hair to the golden eyes with two moles under the right one and he didn't miss the texts that seemed to be tattood across his upper body poking out of the white button up shirt.

A pair of canines peeked out through his unusually childish looking closed smile, they seemed longer than usual. "You are awake! Thought you were dead for a second!" He laughed, he seemed strange to the green haired boy, he seemed familiar even though they had never met before. "You can call me Eight! I'm like you, you're like me! You got my attention with your connection to the other side and that past of yours! And then that outburst of mana! That was quite impressive!" Izuku moved away a bit from the older boy, "W-What do you know!? What do you mean with my past?" he asked, a grin appearing on Eight's face.

"Oh! I know some things!" He clapped his hands together, Izuku really wasn't sure anymore if he was the younger one of the two. "You would like to know, wouldn't you!?" He giggled as he leaned back, letting himself be carried away by the air. "You wanna know who you used to be don't you!?" he asked again while he floated through the air, moving books around from the small table next to the couch into a bookshelf.

"You crave knowledge, don't you?" The brown haired was now face to face with the young boy, a childish grin on his face. "You want to know more about your powers, more about your life, don't you?" He held up his hands, glowing golden strings swirling around them, slowly forming a circle with symbols inside it. Izuku watched in awe, his mother had always told him not to trust strangers but what kind of choice did he have in that moment? "T-Tell me.. please" the grin on the brunette's face grew, a cheeky grin. "I won't just tell you! But I can grant you access to the knowledge that you are looking for!"

Cheers!
