Chapter 1🌻

John B's P.O.V
Alyssa has been staying with me because of her dad. I hate seeing Alyssa all bruised up and having busted lips because of her dad. At first I offered JJ and Alyssa both a place to say but JJ said there isn't enough room and he could handle his dad but I don't know. "Hey JB" Alyssa says walking out of her room. "Hey bean" I say. Then JJ walks in with bruises on his face. "J what happened to your face" Alyssa says. Alyssa always had nicknames for JJ and I. "Nothing" JJ says. "DID DAD DO THAT" Alyssa yells. Then the cops knock at the door. "Alyssa your dad says you haven't been home" Sheriff Peterkin says.
Alyssa's P.O.V
Great my dad ratted me out. "Is that true Alyssa" Sheriff Peterkin asks. "Yes" I say. "Alyssa what are you doing" John B asks. "Let's go" Sheriff Peterkin says and takes me to her car and John B walks out too. "You can't take her there" John B says. "She has to go home" Sheriff Peterkin says and puts me in the car. A couple minutes later Sheriff Peterkin drops me off at my house and my dads waiting outside. "Welcome back" my dad says and I walk inside. "Hey don't ignore me" My dad says and hits me and starts punching me and stuff and I go into JJ's room and cry.
JJ's P.O.V
John B drives me to my house and I walk in and see my dad sleeping and my door closed and John B and I walk into the room and see Alyssa's face covered in bruises and she has a busted lip and a cut by her eye. "Holy shit" John B says and hugs Alyssa. "Let's get you out of here" I say and we all walk out and get into the Van and Alyssa stays quiet the whole drive when we pick up Pope and Kie. We get to Pope's and when Pope gets in he sees Alyssa and hugs her. Alyssa never cries in front of the Pogues. Then we get Kie and she see Alyssa and hugs her. We all knew Alyssa wants to cry. "You know it's ok to cry in front of us right" Kiara says. We get to John B's house and Alyssa quickly get out and walks on to the dock by the boat and falls on her knees and screams.
John B's P.O.V
I run to Alyssa and sit next to her. "Hey hey hey it's ok" I say and Alyssa cries. "I HATE HIM" Alyssa yells.  "I know I know" I say. JJ comes up and sits in front of Alyssa. "I'm so sorry" JJ says and tears go down his face. Then Alyssa grabs JJ's bag and goes on the boat and drives into the middle of the marsh. "Shit my guns in there" JJ says.

Kiara's P.O.V
Alyssa puts the gun to her head and JJ takes his phone out of his pockets and swims to the boat. We all take our phones out of our pockets and swim to the boat. JJ gets to the boat first and gets on. "Alyssa please give me the gun" JJ says. "Why no one loves me" Alyssa says. "I LOVE YOU" JJ yells. John B gets on the boat. "WE ARGUE 24/7 JJ" Alyssa yells. "BECAUSE I DONT WANT YOU TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I DID" JJ yells. Alyssa lowers the gun a little. "Alyssa your my best friend and I can't let you do this so please give me the gun" I say. "Alyssa I know the rule is no Pogue macking Pogue but I love you please put the gun down" John B says and Alyssa drops the gun. "You like my sister" JJ asks. Pope hugs Alyssa and we all do a group hug. We go back on land and go inside besides Alyssa.
John B's P.O.V
"So you like my sister" JJ asks. "That's right" I say. "Don't hurt her" JJ says. "I'm not gonna" I say. Alyssa walks in and walks straight to her room. "I'm gonna check on her" I say and walk to her room and knock. "Go away" Alyssa says. "Can I come in" I ask and Alyssa opens the door and lets me in then closes the door. Alyssa lays back on her bed and I sit next to her. "Did you mean what you said" Alyssa asks and I set my hand on her thigh. "Yes of course I mean it" I say and she sits up. Then I notice she's been crying and I hug her. "You know it's ok to cry in front of us right" I whisper. "I know but I was told crying in front of people make you weak" Alyssa says. "Who told you that" I ask. "My dad" Alyssa says and tears start going down her face. I lay next to Alyssa and hug her and she starts crying. I kiss her forehead and hold her close. A couple minuets later JJ walks in. "Is she ok" JJ asks. "I'm fine J" Alyssa says and sits up.
Carlie's P.O.V
John B sits up with me. "Is Pope and Kie still here" Alyssa asks. "Yea" JJ says. "Can we do a kegger" I ask. "Hell yeah" John B says. "Ok out so I can get my swimsuit on" I say. "Or I could stay and help" John B says. "Ok let's go" JJ says and John B and him leave and I change.

Then I put something over my bikini

After I do all that I put my hair in a messy bun and grab my bag and walk out of my room. "J can you roll a joint" I ask. "Yes I can" JJ says. "Yo can Alyssa sit in front with me" John B asks. "Man I usually-" JJ starts to say but then John B gives him a look. "Yea she can" JJ says and I look at Kiara and she just smiles and I sit in front. We get the Kegger and go to the beach and Kie and I take the first beers and chug them. "That was hot" John B says.
