Chapter 2🌻

Alyssa's P.O.V
After a couple cups of beers a kook starts problems then I realize it's Topper. He's messing with John B. Then they start fighting. "TOPPER STOP" I yell and try and get in the middle of it and Topper hits me. "HELL NO" JJ says and I stand up grab Topper by the collar of his shirt and punch him. "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS BAD ASS" Kiara yells. "IM DONE GETTING BEAT UP TOUCH ME AGAIN AND THERE WONT BE A NEXT TIME" I say getting mad. "KOOKS OFF OUR SIDE OF THE ISLAND NOW" I yell. "Hey hey look at me I'm ok" John B says. I look at John B and he holds my hands. Then all the kooks leave. I start taking my shirt and shorts. "Let's go swimming" I say as I grab John B's hands and walks towards the water backwards.
John B's P.O.V
Alyssa and I walk towards the water and I quickly take my shirt off. "Did you bring a towel" I ask. "Shit" Alyssa says. "That's ok I'll keep you warm" I whisper in Alyssa's ear. "Hey watch your hands buddy" JJ says. "Bro shut up" Alyssa says and we all laugh then Alyssa gets in the water. Then the rest of us get in the water and Alyssa and Kiara start splashing each other. "Let's see who can hold their breath the longest" Alyssa says and we all agree and everyone goes under water. A couple minutes later we all come up besides Alyssa. "Ok Alyssa you win" I say. "Alyssa" JJ says. Then Alyssa comes up coughing. "Hey what happened" Pope asks. Alyssa keeps coughing and we take her out of the water. "Something was holding me down" Alyssa says. "We're one of you holding me down"Alyssa asks. "No" We all say. Alyssa just sits there. "Are you ok" JJ asks.
JJ's P.O.V
"Yea cuz getting held underwater by something makes me seem ok" Alyssa says and put her hands on her head. "Hey let's just get you home" John B says picking up Alyssa's clothes up. "Here use my towel" I say and wrap my towel around Alyssa. We walk to the van and Alyssa sits in the way back not making any noise. "Alyssa" Kiara says and Alyssa doesn't answer. "Alyssa talk to us" Kiara say. "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY" Alyssa yells.  "Well for starters you can tell us what happened" Pope says. "I don't know what happened I keep saying that" Alyssa says tearing up. "Hey it's ok" John B says and pulls over and gets in the back with Alyssa and I start driving. Alyssa hugs John B and he holds her close and we get to the house.
Alyssa's P.O.V
I get out of the van and go into my room. "Flower wait" JJ says. JJ always called me flower. JJ comes up to me and hugs me. "Is there something wrong with me" I ask. "No no don't think that" JJ says. "Then why do people hit me and stuff" I say. "Because they're stupid"  JJ says. "But to be fair you did get in front of Topper when he was punching John B" JJ says. "I WASNT GONNA SIT THERE AND LET JB GET BEAT UP" I yell. "Ok ok I'm sorry" JJ says. "I'm going to bed" I say and lay down on my bed. "Flower"JJ says. "You know what I don't know what happened at the water and Im not getting beat up anymore JJ I'm tired of it" I say and JJ hugs me. "I know flower I know" JJ says then John B comes in. "Officer Peterkin is here" John B says. "Ok coming" I say. We all walk to the porch. "Alyssa I took you home once today then I hear you punch Topper" Officer Peterkin says. "Yea well guess what I hate my dad and Topper punched me first and was on Pogues territory" I say.
John B's P.O.V
Alyssa is probably going home again. "Ok and why aren't you home and what happened to your face" Officer Peterkin asks. "My dad beats me up" Alyssa says. "Honey just cuz you don't want to go home doesn't mean you can make excuses" Officer Peterkin says. "Ma'am she's not" I say. "I understand you all are friends but she needs to go home you too JJ" Officer Peterkin says. "Ok I'll go let her stay"  JJ says. "No let's go" Peterkin says and they get in the car.
JJ's P.O.V
We gotta go home again. "This is bull shit" I say. "Yea well guess what no one will ever fucking believe us" Alyssa says and punches the window and it breaks and she starts bleeding. "Now why would you do that" Officer Peterkin says. "BECAUSE NO ONE EVER FUCKING BELIEVES ME AND IM FUCKING TIRED OF IT THIS IS FUCKING BULL SHIT" Alyssa yells and I hug her. "Flower it's ok" I say then we get to the house and my dad comes to the car and drags Alyssa out by the hair. "You spoiled little brat" My dad says and I quickly get out.
Alyssa's P.O.V
My dad starts beating and I'm to mentally tired to fight back so I let him beat me but that's just makes him wanna beat me more. "Get the fuck off of her" JJ says as I start crying. Officer Peterkin pulls my dad off me and I just lay there because I'm bleeding bad. "I'll call an ambulance" Officer Peterkin says.
John B's P.O.V
We get a call from JJ saying he's in the hospital with Alyssa and my heart drops we all get into the van and drive to the hospital. I run in and ask for the room number she's in and run to it. I walk in and my heart drops. I've never seen her this beat up. "What happened to her hand" Pope asks. JJ sits there crying not saying anything. "JJ what happened to her hand" Pope asks. "She punched the window of the car and then my dad beat the shit out of her" JJ says. "Did she fight back" I ask and look over to Alyssa who's passed out and I hold her hand. "No she didn't she let him beat her" JJ says. "What's she's always fought back" Kiara says. "I know" JJ says. Then there's a knock on the door.
Kiara's P.O.V
I open the door and see Topper and Sarah Cameron. "What do you want" I say. "We heard what happened to Alyssa and we wanted to see if she was ok" Sarah says. Then I see John B just staring. "J-JJ what happened" Alyssa says. "Hey your ok" JJ says and my attention goes to Alyssa. "Why didn't you fight back" I ask. "Because I'm tired of getting beat up" Alyssa says. I see John B staring at Sarah and I think Alyssa notice because she says oh and stands up and pushes Sarah out of her way. "Hey you need to stay laying down" JJ says
Alyssa's P.O.V
I saw John B staring at Sarah so I walk out and Topper follows me. "Alyssa I wanna say sorry for punching you I didn't know you were gonna get in the middle of it and I tried to stop" Topper says.
