The Yellow Leaf Road

Prompt: Picture - Autumn

 We're off to visit Autumn

We strolled down the yellow leaf road

We scuffed our shoes and kicked our feet

How the leafy blanket glowed

The trees that lined the pathway

All shed their glorious crown

And we laughed and danced our walk away

As they all came spiralling down

We'll continue on our journey

To the very end of the lane

Then we'll turn around, retrace our steps

And do it all again!
