"Yeah and then I literally fell asleep in the middle of the meeting my dad was pissed..." as I sat on FaceTime to one of my best friends topper, there was a knock at the door.
"Ugh, top I'll call u back later someone's at the door, night." I blew topper a kiss through the screen before hanging up.
I made my way down the big marble staircase, and towards the front door.
"Yes how can- Rafe?" I was expecting some homeless person or something but definitely not my boyfriend at 1:37 in the morning.
As soon as I pulled the door further open he collapsed, sobbing into my arms. "Rafe baby what's wrong?" I asked cradling him as we sat on the floor.
"I helped my dad bury a body." He placed his head in the crook of my neck his tears soaking my shirt.
"A body, who's body?" I knew my boyfriends dad was pretty much a psycho, sometimes the same traits would show in Rafe but I knew how to calm him.
"G-gavins , my dad s-shot him." He was sobbing hard on my shoulder as I rocked us back and forth, "hey hey at least you didn't kill him it's okay I'm here."
Topper
T: everything okay?
Y: yes, thanks just Rafe
T: thank god thought u were kidnapped lol
I helped Rafe stand up leading him into my room, I sat on my bed Rafe falling into my lap, I began playing with his hair trying to calm him.
"Hey." I tilted his face to look at me "I love you so much okay and I'm always here for you no Matter what." I placed a quick kiss on his forehead before giving him a big hug.
"I love you y/n." He said moving to lay his head on my chest.
"Get some sleep to try and forget it." I wrapped my arm around him and tucked us both into bed, his head laying on my chest as we cuddled up together.
"I love you y/n." He grabbed the back of my neck pulling me down to kiss his soft lips.
"I love you too." And with that we were both asleep.
