You blinked. "I actually want to visit this Moreau fellow. Perhaps he can tell me why he sent me that letter." You suggested. Alcina's face went from curious to blank. "Only if you limit your honey intake, little bear." She whispered, kissing your cheek. "I'll only have honey on my toast and on my baked apples, promise!" You crossed your heart, smiling.

You struggled against Alcina as she bundled you up. She pulled your second coat tight, wrapping a scarf around you multiple times. "Alcina, I think I'm bundled enough." I can't really put my arms down. "Only if you don't complain."

Getting into the carriage with some help, you sat there in 2 heavy coats, 3 scarves, 2 pairs of snow pants, dense mittens, and super fuzzy boots. Alcina wore a simple coat, boots, and gloves. When you got to this Moreau person's place, it was completely frozen over. You walked beside Alcina, looking around. It was dark atmosphere-wise, cold and lots of ice. You began to slip, clinging to Alcina for stability. Coming out of a cave was a hunched over figure. You couldn't quite hear what he was saying as Alcina bundled you up quite the bit, you looked up at her and tilted your head. "What is he saying?" You asked softly, finally getting up close to the man. The smell of fish, death, and wet wool made you scrunch up your nose under your scarf. "Lord Moreau, this is (Y/N)." Alcina spoke proudly, gripping your hand tightly. Is something going on?

You looked at the both of them, confused. "(Y/N)." Moreau's voice sounded hopeful, but also worried. "So you got my letter?" Moreau asked, gently taking your hand. "That was... Your letter? Alcina said it... Wasn't... Alcina you have some explaining to do." You pulled away from her, confused. "It's nothing, darling. He's lying." Alcina insisted, but you were more confused. "Tell them the truth, Alcina." Moreau pressed. You took a couple steps away, looking at the both of them. Alcina took a step to you, gently grabbing your hands. "I promise, my little bear. I would do nothing to hurt you." She gently wiped away a couple of your tears. Your eyes are so caring, but I don't know who to trust because he sounds so trusting. "Alcina. You're not going to be able to sweet talk your way out of this. You need to tell (Y/N) the truth." You shuddered at Moreau's words. "There is no truth." You saw Alcina not turn to him.

You watched Moreau walk over, placing a hand on your shoulder. "You need to tell them about the honey. The pollen in the honey." Alcina grabbed Moreau's wrist, her eyes still on you. "Pollen in the honey?" You pulled away again, falling onto the ice. "Moreau, you're scaring them!" Alcina snapped out, baring her fangs in anger. You crawled away a little, scared. Alcina picked you up, shielding you from the cold. "The pollen in the honey from Donna." Moreau barked out. "Please tell me it's not true." You whispered, seeing Alcina's expression softening with sadness. You promised me, please. "It's not true. Go to the carriage, I'll take care of this liar." Alcina whispered, sending you off.

You sat in the warm carriage, staring out the window. "He told the truth... Didn't he?" You whispered to yourself. He did.
