It's been almost a year now. Every day feels the same; wake up, help Alcina with the winery, check up on the maids, sleep in Alcina's arms. Today was different though. Today, you were going to join Alcina in the courtyard. The day was warm, reminding you of the warm brioche toasted with honey she would make you. I wish I had honey.

Today was another day of therapy for the both of you. Every meeting you began to understand Alcina's need for you and her protective behavior, having lost both her parents and her family to time would make anyone crave affection from someone. You sat beside Alcina, looking up at her as the therapist was on their way. "What is it, little bear?" Alcina's voice held so much affection, making your heart melt. "When we complete a year of therapy, do you have anything planned? I mean, I've been here for almost 2 years and I was hoping that we would... Go on a date, like a date to the town, well... City." You had to admit, with tourism making the most money in the area and with lycans being practically nonexistent, the village went from a town to a city as a highway cut through and made a way to visit by car. "I would love that."

As therapy began in the courtyard, you finally expressed your true feelings. "I want to be more than Alcina's girlfriend. I want to know that I'm not just here to stay until I'm gone." You quietly expressed. "She went through all this trouble of having me, it's worth the trouble to make sure I stay." You finally met Alcina's gaze, seeing love, sadness, and strangely inspiration in her eyes. "I can arrange that."

As the session came to a close and Alcina offered you options. Become a vampire, be infected with Cadou, or find another option. "If we go with vampirism, we will have to test you on one thing." What will you have to test me on?
