Alcina placed a hand on your chest, your body was cold but that didn't seem to bother you. Alcina's eyes traced your form as you finally slept in bed. A maid had gone missing and was found in a closet, but you were sleeping more often as you came to be more active at night. When you had finally awoken, Alcina brought you some wine to help with your thirst. "How do you feel? You didn't get up to go hunt again." Alcina pointed out, opening your mouth and spotting your fangs. They were sharp like she had hoped. When you sipped your cup of wine, you spoke up. "So I'm going hunting tonight?" You asked, checking the piece of parchment handed to you.
Alcina grinned, nodding as you looked at the schedule that was written up to help you get used to your new form. "Who's going hunting with me tonight?" You looked up, giving a small grin. "Daniela. She is a skilled huntress and I trust her to take her time with you." Alcina cooed, ruffling your hair. This will probably help you release some of that pent up energy you have.
The day progressed, you were asleep on the couch already as you lazed around like a cat. Alcina didn't mind, she found your shift in personality a little enjoyable as you were now often found in high places, under things, or sleeping somewhere. Your affectionate demeanor wasn't lost, but rather heightened. "You're awfully affectionate today." Alcina purred, looking up from her book, Sheep Amongst Wolves. As you crawled over Alcina's lap, she ran her fingers through your hair. "I have all of eternity to spend time with you now." You reasoned, pulling the book away, marking the page, and setting it down. "Before I go out hunting, is there anything in particular you want?" You asked, stretching. Alcina placed a hand on your stomach, making small circles with her fingers. "Bring me a rabbit, I haven't had one in a while." With that, you were up and Alcina picked her book back up.
You were gone for a little while, Alcina having finished her book. When she heard the door open, she called out. "(Y/N)?" Alcina listened, waiting. When she had called your name, it sounded like someone was running towards the room she was in. Alcina turned around, eyes wide. She gave a loud laugh, seeing you hold 5 rabbits. "I got you a rabbit!" You squeaked out, handing her the dead prey. "I also found a beehive in Donna's greenhouse and may have taken some honey." You gave a small grin, making Alcina give another laugh. "I won't tell her, little bear."
Alcina laid her head back, the rabbits sent to be skinned and cooked. "Now that I'm a vampire, I just have to ask... Am I going to always hear that voice?" You caught Alcina's gaze with that question. "You'll always have that instinct. You just have to tame it, which can take some time. But trust me, once you can control it..." Alcina's eyes darted up then back to you as she saw a shadow in the corner. "It'll be like it was never there." It'll be a friend in the dark.
