When Adora walked into the room, looking a book to read, she didn't expect to find Catra. Furthermore, she didn't expect to find Catra lying on the floor, rolling around. She was purring, lying on her back, rubbing her head against the carpet. Her tail was lazily flicking.

Adora leaned against the doorframe, watching. She loved it when Catra relaxed and openly showed her magicat traits. It was intriguing to just watch her be herself, without worry or judgement.

Adora noticed Catra was wiggling around only on her back. Was she trying to scratch an itch?
Adora pushed off the doorframe, taking a step forward.

"Hey, kitty." She greeted casually.

Catra shot up to a sitting, having been caught off guard. Her ears were upright, her body tense. Once she realized it was Adora, she relaxed.

"Oh. Hey, Adora." She replied, almost sighing in relief.

Adora walked over to Catra, settling down on the floor in front of her. She kissed Catra's forehead, cupping her cheek.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, baby. I'm sorry." She cooed, almost giggling.

Catra scowled at her tone of voice.

"Shut up." She grumbled, blushing in embarrassment. "You didn't scare me, dummy."

Adora nodded in agreement.

"Okay. Just checking." She said. "You looked like you were itchy there."

Catra groaned. She laid back on the carpet, resuming her attempts to scratch that spot she couldn't seem to get.

"It's under my fur and I'm not that flexible to reach it. It's starting to kill me." She complained.

Adora hummed, taking pity on her girlfriend's issue.

"Flip over." She said suddenly. "I'll get it for you."

Catra paused and looked at her. She then turned over onto her stomach. Adora rested a hand on Catra's back. Catra directed her to where she needed the hand to scratch. Finally finding it, Adora scratched, making sure to get to the skin. Catra melted under her touch. She purred, arching her back.

"Mhm, that's the spot. A little higher up."

Adora adjusted accordingly, resting her chin on her hand, elbow on her knee.

"You're an itchy kitty, huh? That's a good scratch, isn't it?" She cooed, smiling like an idiot.

Catra glared at her.

"Don't infantilize me, you magic weirdo. You seem to have a magicat fetish or something." She sassed without hesitation.

Adora stared at her with wide eyes. She didn't know how to feel about that. She felt oddly called out. Catra flipped over, so she was laying on her back. She kept eye contact with Adora.

"That was mean and I'm sorry, so you can touch my stomach."

Adora's face lit up. Catra letting her touch her stomach was rare. Catra was sensitive there and sometimes didn't even like certain fabrics touching her stomach fur. So, getting to pet the fur there was a luxury and a privilege to have.

Adora looked at the fluffy fur that covered Catra's middle. Gently, she ran her fingers through the fur. She scratched the area just as she had on Catra's back. Catra continued to purr, her eyes closed. She was positioned just like a dog getting a belly rub, her arms and everything.

Adora snorted. She decided to make a risky move.

"Who's a good girl?" She asked, waiting for Catra's reaction.
