"can you believe him? god, he's so weird. calling me good boy? what the hell is that?"

"no offense, awsten, but this is all you've talked about since this morning," otto pointed out before taking a bite of his sandwich. awsten sighed.

"whatever, he's just, ugh." he rested his hand in the palm of his hand. "i just wish he'd leave me al—"

smack!

awsten's face collided with the table as geoff walked past him. "oops, didn't see you there." geoff grinned. awsten slowly raised his head back up.

"did you not just look directly at awsten and smack his head down into the table?" otto raised an eyebrow.

"no one was talking to you, otto," geoff stated.

"good god, could you just go away?" awsten shook his head.

"oh i wish, but it's so fun to fuck with you like this," geoff chuckled.

"why don't you just go talk to jawn or something? he somehow manages to deal with you, doesn't he?" the blue-haired boy said before he turned to face otto.

"nah, he's not here today. he's come down with a cold, but hey, that's more time for me to bother you, right?" geoff smiled.

"get away from me." awsten pushed geoff away.

"fine, whatever." geoff walked away.

"awsten! otto!"

the two boys turned their heads to see jack rushing towards them.

"oh, hey jack. what's up?" awsten greeted him.

"i'm having a party at my house tomorrow night, you two in?" jack asked quickly. awsten and otto both looked at each other and shrugged.

"sure, why not?" awsten nodded.

"alright, cool! see you later!" jack ran off.

"jack's parties are always fun, right? you can probably get over whatever geoff did to you that you won't shut up about," otto said.

"shut up, it's just geoff being geoff. it just... bothered me more than usual." awsten rolled his eyes.

"uh huh, anyways, class is gonna start soon. you gonna eat your apple?" otto asked.

awsten picked up the apple only for it to be snatched out of his hand. awsten looked up quickly and saw geoff walking away.

"see you in class, knight!" geoff chuckled. awsten scoffed.

"for today's assignment, i will be grouping you in pairs."

awsten groaned along with a few others in the class. he hated working in pairs, especially when he couldn't choose who he was working with.

"rian and ashley, you two will be working together."

"maybe it can't be that bad."

"pete and gabe."

"of course, those lucky assholes."

"andy and melanie."

"have those two ever talked to each other?"
