Chapter seventeen

Evas pov
I got home and didn't see my mom in the kitchen or living room. I went to her room and there she was, reading a book with her reading glasses.

"Hey mom just wanted to let you know that Annas coming over in a bit, we're gonna work on a school project."

"Okay." Was all she had said so I turned around and started walking to my room. I started getting the project kinda sorted and set up while I waited for her, after I finished with that I just scrolled through instagram.

That was until she texted me.

Anna ;)
A: I'm outisde open the door
E: coming
A: thats what she said 😂
E: no thats what u wished she said
A: u wouldnt know

I went downstairs and opened the front door to see her standing there just on her phone.

"Hii."

"Hey." She said and smiled. I turned around to walk to the stairs but forgot to remind her about her shoes being off.

I turned around. "Hey remember to take your-"

"Bro I'm literally doing it right now." I smiled at how she remembered.

I turned back around and started walking up the stairs to my room.

I went to my desk and sat in my chair waiting for her to come it.

"Alright lets get started." She said throwing her backpack on my bed.

I laughed at how she came in.

"So you work on that part and I will do this one."

About 10 minutes of us working on it my mom comes in.

"Eva sweetie I'm going to the store." She looks over to Anna and smiles.

"Okay." was all I said.

"Hey Anna." My mom waved at her.

"Hey ms. Cudmore." Anna said back looking at her with a smile.

"I'll be back later." My mom says and leaves the room.

"I'm so sorry but your mom is so-" I slapped my hand over her mouth and left it there.

"Sometimes I just wanna kill you, you know that?" I say looking at her.

She looks down at my hands and then into my eyes.

"I swear I will slap the fuck out of you."

I felt her mouth moving but all you could hear were mumbles because of my hand.

"If you say something stupid I swear Anna." She just quickly moved her head up and down.

I moved my hand and let her talk.

"I was gonna say she is so nice."

I didn't believe that one bit.

"Shut upppp." I put my hand on her head and pushed it.

"How about you shut me up."

"You'd like that huh?"

"Very much yes." She nodded her head up and down with a stupid smile on her face.

"Shut up and work." I let out a giggle. I look at my work and continue.

"You have a cute giggle." I look over to her and she just writing the stuff down. Apparently I was looking for too long because I heard her say, "So you just gonna keep staring or are you gonna work."

I could feel my cheeks warm up. I continue working and about 20 minutes later we both finish.

"That was so easy, 3 weeks to finish that?" I get up from my desk and stretch. I look at Anna but she had already been looking at me so we ended up making eye contact.

She looked away after a bit and sat on the edge of my bed.

"Wanna watch a movie?" I suggest.

"Yeah sure." I was standing in front of my tv because my remote needed the tv signal.

"What do you wanna watch?" I turn to her and ask.

"We should watch this scary movie, type in fear street."

It was recently new. I clicked on it and it played. I started backing up but still watching it, but then the back of my legs hit Annas knees.

She pulled me down and so I was sitting on her lap. I started laughing.

"There's that cute laugh of yours." As soon as she said that I felt her hands around my waist. I look down at them, I see and feel her warm hands go under my shirt resting at my stomach for a few seconds.

I didn't think much about it so I looked back up at the tv. But now all of a sudden I feel her tickling me.

"Anna stop!" I yell out in laughter.

"Nope." I tried to jump out of her arms but her grip on me was tight. I started laughing so much my side started to hurt.

She finally let go and so I jumped out of her arms.

"You little b-" Before I could finish my sentence we heard the doorbell. I squint my eyes at her.

"Ill get pay back." Soon.
