Chapter thirty three

Evas pov 

When I got home it was now 12.  I went to my room and laid down. I remembered to text back Anna, a couple minutes passed, I was washing my face and brushing my teeth while I was waiting. I didn't get a text back yet, she must've fell asleep.

I enjoy spending time with her, I'm glad we met. I ended up drifting to sleep thinking about her. 

Monday morning

By the time I woke up it was 6. I got up and did my stuff in the bathroom, I put on very little make up and got dressed for the day. When I went downstairs I seen my mom drinking coffee. 

"Eva I'm gonna need you to cut back a little on seeing Anna." I looked at her confused.

"Wait what why." 

"You coming home at midnight is just not what I want anymore, also I see your grade dropping in one of your classes."

I didn't even want to respond to her, I grabbed a bottle of water and headed out to my car. I'm not gonna listen to her. I mean I'll come back sooner but I'm not gonna cut back on seeing Anna.

Right as I thought that, she texted me.

Anna ;)

A: Good morning :)

E: Good morning are you on your way to school

A: yeah u?
E: yes see u there 

I stopped texting her because I didn't wanna crash. When I got to school I seen her talking to someone in front of the school. I took another look and it was Rachel. You have got to be kidding me. She's just everywhere. I look at Rachel and she's twirling her finger around her hair. I can't believe she can call herself my best friend after that.

I walk towards them but a little further, I just wanna see if Anna would stop me. I overhear Rachel talking and she said something about hanging out sometime. When will she know when to stop.  As I get to my locker, about to unlock it, I see Anna come next to me leaning back on the locker next to me. 

"Hey." She smiles and greets me.

"Hey." I return the smile.

'You busy after school?" She asks.

"I have work and then if I get homework I have to do that." I tell her as I'm grabbing stuff from my locker.

"Wanna do it together?" I giggle at how she worded it.

"The homework I meant do you wanna do homework together."

"I know what you mean and maybe." I say closing my locker and looking at her. Just then the bell rung. 

"Come, I don't wanna be late." We start walking together, I wonder what she told Rachel. I'm curious what she even wanted, besides Anna.  I can't believe that she could do that behind my back, well not really behind my back because she's so open and public about it.

"Not to be like all up in your business but-" She had cut my sentence short.

"Rachel?" She asks.

"Yeah."

"She just wanted to hangout, I told her I'm busy and that me and you are gonna hang out and she was asked if we were dating and so I told her yes."

I smiled knowing that we made it official.
