Chapter nineteen

Annas pov
I got to my grandmas house and texted Brandon I was outside.

He came out and waved at me. He put his backpack in the back and closed the door. I moved my backpack from the front to the back so he could sit.

"Alright give me the directions and lets be on our way."

"Okay." He gives me directions and I start driving to the house.

"Hey Anna what happened with that one girl from the mall?" He randomly asks.

"The one where when we were getting your shoes?"

"Yeah her."

"Are you guys like dating now?" He questions.

"Why?"

"I'm just curious." He spills.

"No we are not dating, we're just friends ."

"Yeah sure."

"We are."

"Have you guys kissed?"

"Where is this sudden intrest coming from?" I ask.

"I'm just curious." He says again.

"Uh okay." I just answer back.

"So have you guys?"

"Have we what?" I say trying to dodge the question.

"KISSED!"

"Alright jesus yes we have."

"Do you guys like eachother?" Right as he asks I thankfully pull up to his friends house.

"Oh look we're here, get out." I say laughing.

"Whatever I'll be back with more questions, thanks for the ride."

"You're welcome, have fun." He gets out and walks to the back and grabs his backpack.

"Text me if anything okay?" I say looking dead at him.

"Okay." He nods and leaves. I watch him go into the house before I drive off and as I'm driving I get a call from Eva.

My phone is on this phone holder so I didn't have to worry about crashing.

I came to a stop sign so I answer it.

"Hey are you home yet?" I hear her say.

"No I just dropped off Brandon."

"Wait so you're still driving?" She questions me.

"Yes ma'am, I'm almost home though, they didn't live very far."

"Okay good."

"So what'd you call for?" I looked at the time and it was almost 9:45.

"I can't sleep."

"What do you want me to do about that?" I jokingly say.

"Smart ass."

"Hold on I'm almost home."

"Okay." She softly says.

A few minutes pass and I'm now pulling into the driveway.

"Alright I'm home." I tell her. She then hung up.

"Wow." I say quietly.

I grab my things and start going inside. When I get inside I get a facetime from Eva. I answer it and head to my room.

"Hey rat." I say looking at her.

"Oh shut up gremlin." She replies. I smile and laugh at her.

I got up to my room, and propped my phone up so she could see me on my bed.

"Are you tired?" I hear Eva say.

"No." I say as I let out a yawn. I could hear her let out a yawn as well and giggle. She was just looking at me so I took a few facetime photos.

"Ahh stop!" She says while she covers her face.

"You're so pretty." I say and admire her as her hands fall off from her face and into her lap.

She had been sitting on her bed, her phone propped up with the blanket.

"I'm getting kinda tired." I confess.

"Me too" she says and yawns once again.

I layed down, leaving the phone where it was because she could see me.

"Goodnight Eva." I say looking at her.

"Goodnight Anna." She says in a singy song voice.

I closed my eyes and tired to sleep.

Evas pov
Minutes passed since we said goodnight, I was laying down scrolling through instagram but she wasn't on paused she was still on my screen.

"Anna?" I whisper just enough so she could hear me. I just wanted to see if she was awake, I didn't get a response so she must be sleeping.

She looks so pretty right now, she's perfect. I take a facetime photo or two and set my phone next to me and close my eyes to drift to sleep.

When I woke up I seen that Anna was still on facetime. I don't know if she was sleeping still so I just got ready and took her with me.

By the time I was almost finished with my make up I heard Anna groan. I look at my phone and see Anna rubbing her eyes.

"Rise and shine sweetheart." I say and laugh.

"Shut up." She groans again.

"Somebodys not a morning person." I joke and go into my closet to pick out an outfit. She then hangs up, what a bitch.

Whatever. I look at my percentage on my phone and see that it's about to die. Shit. I hurry to put it on the charger and continue picking out an outfit.

I threw on a crop top and some jeans, I paired it with my white forces and that was my fit for today. Pretty basic. I made sure I had everything I needed to take with me to school and went downstairs, but leaving my backpack upstairs.

I didn't see my mom downstairs so she either left for work or is sleeping still. I got me a glass of water, took my vitimans and went back upstairs since I didn't feel like eating.

I checked my phone to see the time and I have to leave in like 10 minutes. I seen that I had a text from Anna so I read it without actually clicking on the notification, just to see what she needed.

Anna ;)
A: srry my phone died
E: its fine
A: sorry about earlier
E: its fine
A: see u @ school :)

I just left her on read. When it came the time to leave I grabbed my stuff, and took the phone charger so I could charge my phone in the car.

When I got to the school I seen Anna getting out of her car and walking towards the school. I got out grabbed my stuff and tried catching up to her.

I was about to call out her name so she'd turn around to see me but I guess someone had the same idea. Her name was being shouted, I looked over to where the noise came from and was surprised, shocked even.

Anna looked around and noticed her, Anna waved to her and she waved back.
