chaper 4: relaxing

Whilst dragging her partner down the dark corridor, a blush refused to leave shinobu's face. She's can't believe that giyu did that. Saying yes to one room, granted that all that misato had, but still. Its causing her to have hypertension, from rapid heart beating!!!

Though, a small part of her is happy and excited to be sharing a room with him. Its an odd duality. She isn't sure why she's happy, but she isn't gonna disregard it, even though its confusing. 'Maybe sharing a room with tomioka-san isn't so bad...'

Giyu meanwhile is still lost on old lady misato's assumption of their relationship. Though right now, he's staring at shinobu's back. She's in his line of vision yes, but he found himself staring at her more lately. Hm, its strange. After all, they are only associates....

Right?

The two pillars finally made it to their room. Shinobu smiled. "Ah, we are here~" she then used the key to open the door, it was a bit fiddly but she managed to open it. The room was dark, so shinobu turned the light on. They found it was spacious too. One futon on the ground in a corner of the room. On it, was 2 sleeping garbs. A low table at the other corner of the room. Also it had an outside portion and a wash room. All in all, it was cosy.

Shinobu however was staring at the single futon on the tatami mats. Seems they even have to share a bed. Her blush became darker. Giyu looked unimpressed at the setup of the room, the insect pillar looked like a tomato.

"....kocho?" He asked worriedly.

"I-i'm fine...." she responded, though he didn't believe her.

The two of them walked into the room and placed their swords on the mats, adjacent to the futon. Shinobu removed her haori from her body and  placed it next to her sword. Then she started to unbutton her uniform. Giyu is watching her every move, she can feel his gaze on her.

"Tomioka-san, is there a reason your staring at me?" she didn't turn around as she asked this. The man blinked and looked away.

"Betsuni...." he mumbled. Then with the quickness associated with the position of a hashira, picked up one of the sleeping clothes and disappeared into the washroom.

Shinobu sank onto her knees as soon as she heard the door slid shut. Her face was on fire and her heart was beating like crazy. 'What would have happened if i didn't say anything!! Oh my....' she thought.

Timeskip:

After changing her clothes, the insect pillar went and sat on the outside portion of their room, staring at the sky. Her clothes were 2 sizes bigger than her but she had no choice but to wear it.

Giyu appeared and noticed that shinobu is missing, he saw that she is outside so he went to join her. The night sky is cool and breezy.

He blinked upon seeing that her clothes are bigger than her, swallowing her body in the material, though he can still see some of her skin. He shouldn't be staring but he can't help it, her skin looks soft and smooth to the touch.

She turned and smiled at him. "Hello tomioka-san~" he just stared, the moonlight is illuminating the features of her face, and the parts of skin that weren't covered by her clothes. Her hair is also down, a rarity. She is beautiful, and its making him uncomfortable, in a bad or good way he isn't sure.

"My, its late, we should probably get to sleep and look for the demon in the morning.... we can think of a plan on how to kill it later." She explained, though giyu is looking at her in a daze.

"Tomioka-san....?" She called out, a blush staining her cheeks. Giyu broke out of his haze and upon viewing her flushed red face, his own started to gain a light shade of the colour.
