"Unghh," she groaned, hand scrabbling at the wall for support as her body involuntarily slumped again, vision turning blurry once more. "No." she growled, hearing Peter's stride as he made a motion to help her up. "I need to get used to this."

"Is it getting better at least?" he asked, instinct screaming at him to help her up, but he appreciated the use of his hands and would prefer to keep them intact.

"Hmmm," she grunted in effort, blinking ferociously as if that would help clear up her temporary blindness.

With a whoosh, she felt the energy pool in her palms, regaining her vision in stages, finally able to see Parker's face hover above her worriedly.

"I-," she gritted her teeth, forcing the energy back into her veins, her skin turning slightly translucent as it retreated "- got it." she breathed out in relief, unclenching her jaw. At this rate, she would grind through her teeth and be reduced to her gums before she was in her 20s.

"We have got to deal with your fainting thing," Peter mumbled, mostly to himself.

"Yeah, how's the big guy doing with that?" she asked, knowing that Bruce was trying his best to figure out how her powers worked, whether they were purely defensive or if she could somehow manipulate it into blasts.

Parker on the other hand was working on controlling the power she already had, forcing her to summon her shields to protect herself from his various attacks as he crawled silently on the ceiling above her.

The taser webs were a very very good incentive and she had been able to summon it faster than ever before, although her hold on it remained tenuous at best. The crash after the high was still as brutal as ever. She didn't know if the constant training sessions in the morning and evening were allowing her abused body to get used to it or if she was getting better at controlling it.

"Not much, from the blood extract we got, although that's been analysed to death anyway. He's going through the doctor's wacky notes to see if they're of any help." Peter shrugged. "But-," he continued, watching her face fall slightly, looking at her now non-glowing, non-freaky skin

"He does have a theory on how we can store the energy for longer term use to that you might not have to exert so much in one short burst and hopefully keep yourself upright for a bit longer."

"Good," she wiped sweat off of the back of her neck, with a towel, hating how little effort it took to incapacitate her these days when she was summoning the energy.

"Come on, Parker." she grunted, standing up, readjusting her stance, braid flicking behind her shoulder as she faced him.

"Really, don't you think we should-," he glanced hopefully at the sun, frowning when he saw that it still hadn't set, knowing what was coming next.

"Like you promised, Parker, come on." she raised an eyebrow, daring him to back out, faking a swipe which he dodged easily.

"See, I don't understand why we need to do this when I have all of this." he made a circling motion around his entire body instead of calling it the Peter Tingle, a name which she also quickly adopted after overhearing Sam and Bucky talking about it on the way to dinner. Not that she had joined them ever since pre-Russia breakfast, still feeling antsy about spending time with the rest of them.

It was as if her radar pricked every time she turned to Sam or Rhodey. It would twinge ever so faintly when she laid her eyes on Peter but there was still the overwhelming sense of trust which often masked the little nugget of worry which she then pushed into the back of her mind.

Aiming a kick at his torso which he quickly stopped with the palm of his hand, he grinned, gripping her foot and jerked leftwards using a mere fraction of his strength as she hit the floor with an oomph.
