I lied if i said i wasn't trepidatious
My lover texted me
I'm on my way, sweetheart
I was, still, not entirely sure how to illustrate it
I tried to stay calm
Not trying to sweat my body
He picked me at 5PM sharp
Politely greeted me with an engaging smile
He sure looked very handsome and fine
I was told I looked fascinating
Our eyes locked while I was shyly said thank you
Notified him to be more focused on the road
Then he bursted out a brief laugh
We went to a beguiling setting
It was absolutely a calming café
Just like we had decided days ago
I had iced chai latte
He, on the other hand, got himself americano
The conversation was honestly diverting
Enjoying the lovely atmosphere and the nutella cheesecake
Chatting without slight realization
It was almost time
3 gratifying, enjoyable hours passed
I wish we could stay more longer
But sadly, we were ready to leave
He sent me back home safely
Waving a good bye and mouthed "i love you"
