We went to the library the next three Fridays. We finished up our papers which were due the next week. We had become pretty good friends during that time. My roommate, of course, had to add in her two cents. "You've been spending a lot of time with Taehyung. Any sparks flying there?" Jasmine asked.

"We are just friends."

"Yeah but he is the first guy you have really spent time with since I've known you. Maybe it could be more."

"I don't know. I don't want to ruin what we have. I enjoy his company and I don't want to chase him away."

"Maybe he likes you too." She suggested.

"I don't know and I don't plan to ask." I said.

"I think you are missing an opportunity. I mean how many guys are you gonna meet that look like him and you actually like being around them. They aren't stuck on themselves."

"I guess I'll miss an opportunity then." He was really cute. No. I don't have time for that plus what if he doesn't like me like that? Then it will get weird. No. I'm good where we are.

Three weeks later we got our grades on our papers. I had gotten 92% and I was thrilled. I was curious to know how Taehyung had done. He had worked really hard. We talked almost every day before class. I went up to him after. "Hey, Taehyung. How did you do on your paper?"

"I got a 90%. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to pull this paper together. It was all because of your help that I did this well."

"I just guided you along. You did all the hard work."

He smiled and it was so cute. "I think we should celebrate. Let me buy you dinner for helping me."

"You don't have to do that."

"I want to."

"I don't know." It seemed a little too much like a date.

He kind of looked hurt. "I promise not to bite. I have good restaurant etiquette. I won't embarrass you. I promise." His eyes pleaded with me.

"Ok. I'm sure you won't embarrass me."

We planned it for the next night. I dressed casual but nice. A pair of jeans with a flowing blue top that complemented my eyes. A nice pair of tennis shoes and a simple necklace. I didn't mess with make up because I didn't want him thinking I thought of this as a date. Just two friends going to dinner.

He came to pick me up at six. I opened the door and just stared at him. My mouth was suddenly dry and my stomach gave a little flip. He was gorgeous. He had on jeans and a maroon button up shirt that was tucked in. A black belt with a silver buckle and black loafers. His hair was shiny and kept falling over his sparkling brown eyes. He smiled at me and I think my heart skipped a beat.

"Are you ready?" He asked snapping me out of my daze.

"Yeah. I'm ready." I followed him to his car. Even his walk was sexy. Lord, help me. He opened the car door for me. "Thank you." I said as I climbed in. It was a dark green two door Honda. Cute and very clean.

He got in and started it up. "I hope you're hungry. This place has excellent food."

"Where is it we are going again?"

"Juliano's. A friend of mine took me a couple years back."

We were silent a moment as he drove. He was confident in his driving skills. The scent of his cologne filling my nose was intoxicating. He was making this really hard for me to keep seeing him just as a friend.

"Are you ok? You are awfully quiet." He asked.

"I'm fine. I'm just hungry." Come on, Katrina. Get yourself together. Stop acting weird.
