I didn't even have to convince her to come. She was all in, ready to party. She decided to help me dress as well. "I am not wearing that."
"Come on. You have to live a little." She whined.
"Showing off all my goodies is not living a little. It's saying I'm desperate."
"At least can we compromise? Can you at least wear a skirt and something that's not a turtleneck?"
"This is not a turtleneck." I argued.
"It says Hello grandma, the factory is closed."
"Ok. What about this?" I held up a black top with a scooped neckline.
"I can deal with that. At least it will show some collarbone. How about this skirt?" She held up a knee length full skirt that was black with white daisies.
"I suppose. What shoes go with that?"
"OOOO. Wear these strappy sandals. That would be so cute."
Now I was dressed. Time to do hair and makeup.
I curled my straight hair and pinned it up on one side. Jasmine wanted to do my makeup. "Remember I am not a hooker. Please be subtle."
"Oh. Ok." She worked for a bit then handed me the mirror. "What do you think?"
Not too bad. She had given me a subtle smoky eye look and some light colored lipstick. A little blush and mascara. "Nice. Good job." I finished the look off with a heart necklace that rested right above the top of my shirt.
Taehyung was right on time to pick us up. I opened the door and my heart skipped a beat. Damn he was gorgeous. Before I could utter a word, Jasmine was behind me. "Hey, Taehyung. Aren't you a sexy thing."
I do believe he blushed a little. He was wearing black slacks and a blue button up shirt with the top two buttons undone giving just a sneak peek at his chest. Oh! Dear Lord, help me. Jasmine pretty much shoved me out the door.
She jumped into the back seat giving me the eye to ride in front with Taehyung. I slid in after he opened the door for me. Shutting it and moving around to the drivers side. We all chatted on the way there. It was about a fifteen minute ride. We pulled up to a two story white house. All the lights were on and you could just barely hear the music from outside.
We followed Taehyung up to the door. He didn't knock, just walked in. He was greeted by several people as we made our way to the living room. He went straight to a silver haired guy and clasped hands and bumped shoulders. "Glad you could make it, Tae."
"Me too." He said. "I brought a couple friends. Katrina and Jasmine. Girls, this is Namjoon. This is his house."
"Thanks for letting us come." I said.
"Any friend of Tae's is welcome." He smiled and cute little dimples appeared in his cheeks.
"Hey, what's up Tae? Haven't seen you in awhile." Said a shorter man with blonde hair.
"I've been busy with school. Meet Katrina and Jasmine. Girls, this is Jimin."
Jimin smiled and his eyes formed little moons. "Nice to meet you ladies." He nodded at me then took Jasmine's hand and kissed the back of it. I looked at her and she was completely taken. "Can I show you around?" He asked her.
"Sure, cutie." And off they went. Damn it! I was not good with people I didn't know. I stood there awkwardly while Taehyung and Namjoon talked. I looked around a bit. There were quite a few people there but not so many it was wall to wall. Most people were standing or sitting in small groups.
