Mia's POV

Liam came running running into my room with a panicked look on his face. It was yesterday that Aldric had left to find Dante. My heart started beating so fast as I wondered why he was this way.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room.

-Liam wha-

- I'll explain on the way.

With that said. He pulled me outside and into a different car. This was a smaller one less visible and the windows were dark. After he pushed me into the backseat, he got in the drivers seat and we took off.

- Liam what is going on?

He took a deep breath and looked in the reare view mirror, like someone is following us.

- Have you met an elderly before?

I thought for a moment.

Flashback...

I turned around and faced the man who seemed to be in his fiftys.
But since he was a vampire I'm probably wrong.

- Who are you?

I Asked a bit scared.

- I'll ask the questions missy.

I gulped as he looked around the room and then at me, checking me from head to toe.

- Where's your master?

I Pointed at Dante who was still talking with those boring men about their boring business.

- Ahh... so you're the princes pet. I heard his last one didn't last long.
I wonder how long you will last.

I moved a bit back.

The man put his hand on my shoulder and moved his thumb on my bare skin making me flinch in disgust.

I moved back again but he took my waist holding me in one place.

- Please let go of me sir.

- How dare a pet speak like that?!
He seemed outraged.

I didn't understand what I said wrong.
I was polite. The only reason I was polite to these blood suckers was because I was scared Dante will whip me again.

- How about I take you to one of the guest rooms and teach you a lesson?

- I-
I stuttered.

- That won't be needed.

I looked up at the familliar voice.

It was Aldric, Dante's brother.

I was suprised to see him.
I haven't seen him since he took me away.

- How can a pet be so disrespectful?

The man was clearly angry at me behaving the way I did. But I was on my best behaviour.

- You know my brother, he likes a challenge.

He said with a chuckle.

- That I do know.

He said walking away.

I looked at Aldric with confusion written all over my face.

- Thank you? I guess?

- You should never go against an elderly.

- A what?

- Nevermind, just don't speak back all the time.

End of flashback...

- Yeah I guess I have. They're quiet harsh.

- Yeah they are and they've made up their mind about something.
