Chapter X

My alarm clock rang. 6:30 am, Monday. But before I went out of bed I had one question that scared me a bit.

Lilith: Why didn't I have a dream last night?

„I don't know. Kind of weird, isn't it?"

Of course it is! And don't worry, maybe it's just a sign.

„What sign?"

That we're becoming normal?

„We never were, and you know that."

Our fantasy might have found an end, who knows.

„I don't think so. And now get up Lilith, you'll be late."

Lilith: Fine.

Don't forget the book you wanted to show Damon.

Lilith: Right, thanks.

The most important topic was Rachel's disappearing. Everybody was talking about it, even Elidi

Elidi: Have you heard that Rachel's missing?

Lilith: No?

Elidi: She is, since yesterday.

Lilith: Did her parents call the police?
Elidi: For sure they did.

Lilith: When have they seen her the last time?

Elidi: Her parents said that she told them that she was out for a walk but she didn't mention where.

„As she told us yesterday."

I still can't believe that we did this.

„It was Lilith's decision, not ours."

But we could've stopped her.

„So you wanna tell me that you're not happier since we drowned her?"

Ok, I liked it.

„You see, everything is fine."

What when Damon tells the police? Or the police finds out?

„They wont, don't worry."

Lilith: What about you and Thana?

Elidi: We don't talk anymore.

Lilith: Just because of me?

Elidi: She lied in a not acceptable way.

Lilith: Will you forgive her?

Elidi: Who knows. I don't wanna share a room with her in our class trip anymore.

Lilith: Wanna be my roomie?

Elidi: Yes, please!
Lilith: Should I try to talk with her?

Elidi: Nah, she must be angry.

Lilith: We aren't kids anymore, Elidi. I'll show you how to do it. Hey Thana, I know you're staring at us! What's the reason? Jealousy?

Elidi: Lilith, stop.

Lilith: I would like to know the reason!

Thana: I'm not jealous.

Lilith: Of course you aren't! But at least you regret what you did on Saturday!

Alinta: What did she do on Saturday, huh?

Lilith: She was THAT jealous because Elidi hangs out with me sometimes, and this is what she screamed off her balcony: „Thanks Lilith! Now my one and only bestie is mad at me! Why can't you be like your parents, huh? They did a good thing to leave this damn world, but you- just go and bury yourself!"
