Chapter XI

Now I was in the cage, and this girl was standing in front of me.
Girl: How do you feel? This will be your new home.

Lilith: Get me out of here! I don't want to spend here my whole life!

Girl: You wont, don't worry. Sooner or later you'll get your body back. And now, let me introduce myself. My name is Ilsen and I am- or was that powerful voice in your head. You might ask yourself who's the other voice, well, it's Orion. You know Orion, right? She's, I mean, she was Tierra's and Adron's daughter. What happened to her? She died because she made one mistake, she didn't listen to me. So I had to get her out of my way. You're my next student, and I hope that you will learn from Orion's mistakes.

Lilith: What were Orions mistakes?

Ilsen: Not listening to me anymore. And now, I want to find out more about your circle, you want to kill everyone, right? Even Elidi?

Lilith: Elidi never did something worse to me.

Ilsen: Not to you, but her sister. She knew about her deepest, darkest secret and her sister got worried so she jumped off a bridge. Have you ever told her something about your past?

Lilith: I don't think so.

Ilsen: Good. Lilith, don't be mad at me, I just want to know who's useful for us- and who deserves to be killed. I'm proud of you that you're quiet, otherwise I had to... Never mind. Any questions so far?

Lilith: What do I have to do if I want to leave?

Ilsen: Leave? You will not and cannot leave before I'm back here, I have to say that sentence, not you. Sadly, there's no other person here who could help you, so just be patient, ok?

Lilith: Patient. Can't you just tell Tierra that you're ill and-

Ilsen: I want to meet your friends and your enemies, no discussion about that. Aren't you interested what you have to do if you want to be free when I'm back?

Lilith: Tell me.

Ilsen: You have to swear. You have to swear that you'll do everything I want.

Lilith: That's it?

Ilsen: You really think that I'll just give you some advice as before? Nah, since we met each other, you're MINE. I can do WHATEVER I WANT with you. Enjoy the last few hours of freedom, goodbye.

She disappeared. Why in the world did I have to say the exact translation?! Now I'm sitting here in her cage, alone, without knowing what she'll do in my life? She could kill Tierra, Elidi, everyone who's important to me, because she thinks that they're in my way. I don't want to do this ritual any longer, but I think Ilsen will force me to do it. And I have no other choice, otherwise I'll be dead, and I don't want to put Tierra through so much pain. What am I even talking about? I'm adopted, she's not my mum or anybody in my family, so she wont care. Or in other words: She will care as much as about Adrons death. Ok, calm down Lilith. Maybe she just wants to hold conversations with my friends, she seems to be very lonely.

Ilsen's part

Noting changed in here. I woke up in Orions room, and heard Tierra in the kitchen. Shall I say „good morning" or just „morning"? Lilith says usually „morning", so I'll do this too. My backpack is packed and Lilith chose her outfit for today yesterday evening. Ugh, a green pullover and some black jeans, and even a... bow? I wont put that bow on, it makes me feel uncomfortable, and if you want to seem powerful- this is the first sign of being weak. I ate some cornflakes and went to school. 7:45, early enough to talk with Lilith's „friends". This guy called Damon comes towards me. What did they do together again? He must be her accomplice.
