"Calm down, you have time to speak, Bin, I have nothing better to do."

Changbin's smile faltered a bit at the other's tone.

"Are you okay, Chan? You sound tired. Have you even slept last night?"

Chan let out a chuckle, but there was no emotion in it.

"How can you do that? Ask me if I'm okay when you're clearly the one who's not?"

Changbin sighed.

"Can we not do this?"

"I thought you were getting better. I really did. You smile more, you eat more-"

"I am!", Changbin assured him.

"But you can still write these things. Bin, knowing this is going on in your head.", He trailer off for a while. "I'm happy you're able to write about it and I'm sure it helps you, it helped me too, but I never imagined this would be so deep. How do you even manage to be this energetic, sometimes?"

Changbin shrugged.

"Right now I feel energetic, I'm not lying, I'm not faking it. I have better times, worse times, and I have to make sure I use the better ones the best I can."

Chan looked at him for a while, as if trying to decipher an enigma.

"When did you become this wise?"

Since Felix shoved his dick up his ass.

"I just had something good happening to me yesterday, I didn't become wise I just managed to pull my depressing self a bit to the floor, give it a few kicks and stuff."

Chan rolled his eyes playfully, nodding and hoping that was the truth.

"What exactly happened?"

"Nop. My things, not... not yet.", he gave Chan a shy smile that confused the taller, but he didn't dare to question anything else, that was more communication than they had had the whole ass month.

"Are you finishing it?"

"Soon, can I make it a player if I manage to make it better?"

"Bin this is perfect the way it is, you don't have to sharpen words to make it more beautiful or soft or whatever you're thinking. Raw feelings, raw art. This is what you feel, then put it out there, don't try to change a thing that you wrote in here."

Changbin seemed a bit taken aback by their leader, but nodded, even if doubting.

"Okay, I will then."

"Tell me as soon as you want to record it, okay?"

He nodded, feeling the older ruffle his heart, and letting him do so.

"We never went for the sushi, do y-"

"Let me grab my coat. I want the one on the central street, they have the fruit ones."

Chan watched as the shorter jumped to get his jacket from the other side of the studio and let him pass the door first, switching down the lights and smiling widely at the darkness.

Maybe, even if not all at once, Changbin could be happy again.

Maybe Jeongin was right, after all.
