"Guys, did you know Julissa-" I began, but then got rudely interrupted by my best friend.
"Who cares?" Amanda snarls, glancing over at me. "That bitch left us to be popular. She should know who's the real friends here. But it's too late, she's made her decision, so she stays with them."
"OMG! Look at her new Insta pic." I pipe up, showing it to Serena before showing it to Mandy. It was of Julissa in a car, taking various selfies with different facial expressions.
"Hold up, you follow her?!" Amanda asks me, clearly pissed off.
"No, I'm stalking her," I explained.
"Yeah, well you might as well follow her." Amanda rolls her eyes, stabbing at her salad.
"Really?" I asked her, hopefully.
"No!" She tells me in disbelief, glaring at me.
"Wow," Randy Olivares said beside me, and I glanced at him. "You know, Michelle, I actually thought Julissa and I had something going on between us . . . Apparently not since she's currently too busy locking lips with Brandon fucking Sanchez of all people. It had to be that fucker." He mumbled that last part, but I was able to hear him, you know, being right next to him and all.
I frowned and turned around, and sure enough, there was Julissa, my former best friend, kissing Brandon Sanchez passionately in the corner of the cafeteria, being all mushy with him back there. I'm surprised they didn't take off their clothes right there and fuck. Julissa's new best friends, Brianna and Natalie, cheered on from where they were sitting, and she just glanced and winked at them.
Despite seeing all this, I didn't fail to notice Randy's pained expression as he too watched this.
Stupid Julissa. How could she do this? Randy clearly liked her more than that bastard Brandon ever could.
To say Julissa Rosanne Gutierrez has changed would be an understatement. She changed drastically. She went from being Ravenwood High's most bullied and ignored kid, to being the most popular and loved, all eyes on her, even more popular than Addison Mitchell. And that's saying a lot.
But before Julissa became popular, she and Randy definitely had something going on between them. Randy has liked her from the very start, in fact, Brandon was one of Julissa's biggest bullies. Oh, the irony. And now here they are, sharing fluids with each other shamelessly in front of the whole cafeteria.
I knew that Julissa was kind of dumb, but I didn't think she was this stupid. Stockholm syndrome, perhaps? Because other than that, I don't see how she could like that monster Brandon at all.
