First Step

Aight we getting thereeeee I literally had to write a 300 (minimum) word assignment and since, you all know I'm amazing at writing like, 450-700 words a PART, Im obviously going to pass 😌 anyway SEND PRAYERS as I wasn't there for the days we studied it and did our draft, so I just had to guess and go with that :)) anyway sorry for a long intro, let's get into it.

Today I woke up really late.. "well shit.." I said, groggily as I sat up and looked at the time. "5:00 pm" I read aloud, getting up I slipped on some comfy clothes and walked outside, "just going to the garden, bye mom!" I yelled out to my mom, walking outside and down the road. Sitting on the small bench next to the multi coloured flowers, I thought about last night. "We're they really that surprised..? Or were they faking it?"

I pondered for a moment till I heard a familiar voice. "Oh, Hey y/n! Didn't know you'd be here!" Toby cried, in a clear, happy tone. "Ah! Toby! Hey!" I greeted, as he sat down beside me, "the sun is setting soon you know.." he said, looking up to the sky. "Yeah.." I said, awkwardly, i was to nervous to talk, instead I just stared at the sky, as it faded from a orange to a deep black. "Hey y/n.." He said before continuing, "do you want to go out again tomorrow, you know.. just me and you." I looked to him, smiling, as I said "yeah.. sounds nice.."

The rest of the night was calm, small conversations, and laughs every so often, it was quiet nice.. until it came to a point were we just stared into each others eyes.. trying to figure out what to do.. as we got closer, and closer, I panicked, how much I wanted as to punch myself right there and then.. "I-it's getting late, don't you think?" I said, backing away and getting up. "Oh uh yeah.." he said, sounding sad, which made me pout. "I'll walk you home.."

And with that, we walked along the lonely street, only the light from the lampposts guiding us. "Here we are!" I said, smiling at him. "Yeah.." he said, a sad smile on his face. I felt bad for him. And I didn't know why.. before he could start walking away, I grabbed his hand and hugged him. "Thanks for today, it was fun.." I said, until I had the urge to just... I kissed him on the cheek and before he could reply, I ran inside, closing the door behind me, trying to hide my embarrassment. "Wow.." I heard from outside the door. I giggled before I headed up to my room with a smile on my face.

That was the first step :))
