Regina went back to the Queens of darkness while the Charmings and Hook went to Gold's shop to find Belle.
" Belle where's the dagger."
" It's hidden." She looked Hook dead in the eyes but he was totally oblivious.
"Are you sure?"
"Hook I'm sorry but I have to break the oath."
"What bloody oath?"
"You told me I could never talk about what happened last night."
"I have no idea what your talking about love but I'm all ears."
Then Belle realized her mistake.
"Rumple is here isn't he. He's here in Storybrook! That's why he cared so much about Will and I. Why he asked if I was over him. That also means I gave him the dagger."
Everyone exchanged worried glances. The dagger was their only hope of defending themselves against the dark one.
"This is all my fault but their has to be some way I can help."
"Lacey." David stated. Belle was turned into Lacey by Regina after she crossed the town line and lost her memory.
"How is Lacey going to help?" Belle hated that side of her. Lacey went against everything Belle believed in.
"Lacey loved all the darkness inside him. If she were to be in love with the villain he is now you can steal the dagger back from him."
"How would I have become Lacey?"
"Regina!"
"I know I wanted to help but I can't. Not like this. A part of me still loves him and plating with that emotion is wrong. Plus what about Will?"
"We can tell him the truth." David pleaded with her until she agreed.
"Do you still have the dress?"
"Yes and Ruby can do my makeup and hair. I'll be Lacey in no time."
"Great, I'll tell Regina the plan." Emma told them. Emma and Hook left and hopped into her yellow bug while David and Mary Margaret went over all the details with Belle.
"I just hope this works."
