Pixal jolted awake, sitting up in the dark room that was only illuminated by the small LEDs encased in her samurai x themed bed frame.

"Another nightmare.." she mumbled, bringing their metal hands to her face, wiping away tears. She stared at the wall, and then down at a small creamy-white rabbit plush sat on a pile of blankets and pillows in the corner of the room.

"Hey guys!! There's a carnival in town! Can we go can we go can we-" Jay was cut off by Cole. "Shut up, Jay, we get it you want to go."

"Why not? We've got nothing to do unless the commissioner calls up with a problem"

"But Lloyd, wouldn't we be surrounded?"

"Zane's right. Everyone knows we're the ninja, we'd just be handing out autographs." noted Kai.

"Oh come on Kai we all know you love the attention." Jay pouted.

"They don't know Pixal or Morro's identities though." Lloyd looked over to the two, Morro currently laying on the couch staring at their phone and Pixal sat on the floor tinkering with some small device.

"What do we have to do with this?" Morro sat up from his place on the couch.

"I dunno, you two are the ones who never leave the monastery unless you're going on a mission. Wouldn't it be nice to get out and actually get used to the city?"

"I worked for my father in the city for a while, I don't feel the need to go there for anything." Pixal mumbled, too invested in what she was doing to look up.

"No, no. Lloyd's right, Morro hasn't had a chance to actually look around the city since coming back from the dead and Pix is constantly working on vehicles, too busy to enjoy herself."

"So we can go?!" Jay was bouncing up and down like a kid.

"Yeah, let's go change, grab our things and then we can go." Lloyd turned on his heel before stopping and looking back at Morro and Pixal, "That includes you two." and he carried on walking.

"Whoa, you have other clothes? I thought you only had the Samurai X suit." Jay joked as Pixal walked through to the living room in a purple sweater with a white button up underneath, a pair of jeans and dark blue sneakers. "Skylor took me out and bought me a few things after the oni attacked." She said simply. "Wait what? Like a date?" Kai panicked. "No, we're friends, besides she said herself that she doesn't feel that way about me."

"Damn.. you almost dated Skylor?"

"No? While on the run from Garmadon we conversed a few times and became friends, I had mentioned I had never been shopping and Skylor offered to take me out, that's all."

Kai nudged Morro and whispered something, whatever it was it made Morro blush as they tried to swipe the spiky haired boy. Mumbling something along the lines of "They don't like me like that, and I don't like them like that"

Lloyd finally came through and they all set off to the carnival.

As soon as they arrived they all split up, leaving Morro and Pixal by themselves near the entrance. Cole and Zane had mentioned going to get snacks, Jay, Nya and Kai went off to ride a few of the rides and Lloyd had been dragged off by fans to sign their green ninja merchandise.

"I don't exactly know what to do here, never been to a carnival." Morro kicked a few rocks nervously. "Neither have I, though I have heard stories from the others about Mega Monster Amusement Park, but they were mostly about their battles against the serpentine."

Lloyd found them again, rubbing lipstick off his face with his jacket's sleeve. "God I hate fans..." Lloyd trailed off after realising everyone else had left except Morro and Pixal.

Pixal got up off the bed and made her way over to the pile of blankets in the corner of the room, flopping down into them and finally wrapping their arms around the small bunny plush.

"I'll teach you guys how to play some of the games and then I'm going to find the candy stalls."
Morro just hummed in response and Pixal nodded.

Lloyd taught them how to do ring toss, pick a duck and balloon darts before slipping away to a Cotton Candy stall nearby.

"Want to do this one?" Morro asked, standing in front of a ball toss game."If you do, most of these are 'rigged' as Jay calls it."

"It's got cute prizes." Pixal looked up to see the array of plushies, the biggest prize being a five foot tall teddy bear and the smallest being a Disney tsum tsum. As Pixal scanned through the prizes before her eyes landed on a medium-sized white, no cream? Bunny plush, it had a purple bow tie and a happy look on its face.

"That isn't accurate, bunnies don't have paw pads like cats." Pixal said, pointing up to the plush. "It's just a plush, I'm fairly sure bunnies don't look like that at all." Morro held back a laugh.

"I'll see if I can win it."

Morro put the money down on the counter for one play, which was 5 balls, and started randomly tossing them. Not really trying, he failed and got only enough points for a small Eeyore tsum tsum plush. They played a few more times, each time not getting enough for the bunny.

"Let me try, you're not aiming right." Morro sighed before moving away from the small pile of balls, letting Pixal take one.
She was quite obviously calculating the right amount of force, angle, etcetera to land the perfect shot.

She threw the ball, almost perfectly, only a few centimeters off. Pixal grumbled under their breath before throwing another ball, this time landing in the right place.

"Perks of having a nindroid as a friend, huh?" Morro chuckled as he pointed out the bunny for the game manager to get down. The game manager handed them the bunny. Morro and Pixal wandered off to find another game, a few tsum tsums and the bunny in hand.

They finally met up with the others, Jay and Lloyd were insisting on going to a boba tea place and then go to Skylor's. As soon as they arrived they got questioned about the prizes they had won, but they were quick to change the topic back to going to the boba tea place.

"You can keep it, I'm not a massive fan of plushies haha." Morro chuckled at the end of that, Pixal picked up that they were lying but took the bunny out of his hands anyway. "Thank you, even though I was the one to win it." She laughed, smiling every second.

Morro mumbled something under his breath, "What?"
"Nothing, Pix, don't worry about it, talk to you in the morning."
"Goodnight, Morro."
"Night, Pix."

"Why did you have to do that, we could've taken Wojira on together.."

Pixal wrapped a blanket around herself and snuggled down into the pile of pillows, holding the bunny plush to their chest tightly as she fell back to sleep.
