Me!
I promise that you'll never find another like me!
I'm the only one of me,
Baby that's the fun of me!

"Take your time with this, everyone, it will take time" the master went on as I tried to sneak into the courtyard and take my space.

"Late again?" Lucas, my annoying friend that I had made here, whispered.

"Like you haven't" I said back.

"I haven't, I'm on time." He bragged.

"What are we doing-"

"Everyone take their time with this!" The teacher said to the group. "Just like Samuel did this morning, arriving here"

"What?" I turned my head.

Shit, uh he knows.

"You're late... again" the class laughed when he said that.

"I can explain!"

"Let me guess, you had to stop an inter-dimensional demon, or you had too rearranged the library" Lucas said while everyone else got on with the task.

"What are we meant to be doing?"

"Shields, just look"

7. Hours. Later.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh" I groaned as I lay on the steps in front of Lucas.

"What?" he kept put his hands out and creating shields.

"You get it every time, so I don't know why you keep doing it! Hurry up, I wanna go out" I sat up.

"God, you whine too much, I'll change and then we go."

One of my favourite things about the sanctum is that I'm able to go to different places around the world without having to travel far. My favourite is London, it has some nice coffee places, but Lucas always makes us go into New York, and I'm not complaint because I love New York, but this sanctum is in the city and I like going other places, especially since we can literally go anywhere!!

"Oh look at you, looking like a business man" Lucas patted my shoulder. "Why do you always wear suits?"

"I like to look sophisticated. Now let's go before it gets dark" we walked out into New York. "Wait, I should probably tell mother"

"Oh it's fine" he took the back of my shoulder and pulled me along. "Can you even believe this is our life?"

"It's been my life for 1600 years, I'm just happy that I'm finally able to do anything but read!"

"I just love the fact that you have been learning this stuff for hundreds of years and yet you are still late to every single lesson without fail."

"I'm not late to all of them! Just some of them" I whispered. Lucas stopped and looked up to where avengers tower was.

"We're like the avengers... just better" he muttered.

There was a little bit of an awkward silence.

"Dude, we're nothing like the avengers!" I laughed.

"No, no, we are. Think about it, we save the world!"

"We are training to save the universe, and more. So... we're just better than the avengers."

3 hours later...

After a long, long, long, long, long, long time on talking to Lucas about how we are not like the avengers, we finally got back to the sanctum.

"I'll see you later, ok?" Lucas nodded as he walked out into the sleeping quarters.

"Cool" I said. It was dark outside now so I decided to go and change before I went back to the library.

"Samuel" I heard mother say from behind me.

"Mother" I turned round.

"Where have you been?" She asked calmly.

"Oh, I just went into New York"

"Right, I must speak with you. Come" I followed her walking around the sanctum. "Stephen Strange is arriving soon, he is to be some of the best of us, he is to do great things."

"What sort of great things?"

"They will come in time, my son. But I need you to help him learn, as smart as the man is, he will need some... adjusting. And I believe you to be perfect for the job."

"Why must I help him? I understand that he is meant to be one of the best but what is it that makes him need help?"

"Strange will learn a great deal in a short amount of time."

"Well when is he arriving?"

"Any day now. This is quite the task, but I do believe you to be capable."

"I will do it."

"Stephan Strange will be trying at times, but stay and he will do good."

"Then I must. I cannot turn down the idea of helping someone to do good." I smiled.

"Good. I shall see you later, Samuel."

"Goodbye, mother." I looked around, realising that I was in the courtyard. It was late now so there wasn't any sorcerers out. I stood there as it started to rain, I don't know why I didn't go.

"SAM!" Lucas yelled from the other side of the yard. "DUDE YOU MIGHT WANNA GO INSIDE"

"I can hear you if you don't yell!" I said.

"WHAT?"

"Oh god" I rolled my eyes and ran over. It started to thunder then.

"Fucking Thor" Lucas laughed.

"Language!"

2am.

"You should get some sleep" Wong said, getting up and putting his book away.

"I will, just want to finish this book." I said, he nodded and walked out. When I did finish reading I stood up and put the book back. I started to put out the lights when I came across the one next to the locked books.
