Chapter 24

Katy's P.O.V

I sat there staring into the darkness, crying and smiling like crazy. The handcuffs were marking my skin by this point.

Flashback

"You and you're sister are pitiful!" My father's voice roared. "My sister is not pitiful!" I yelled. He smacked my face and I crashed down onto the floor.

"You best be quiet if you know what's right for you." He said before walking outside.

I stayed on the floor blood dripping out from my mouth. I wanted to scream in pain but either way I couldn't even breathe well.

"Sis?" I heard Aki's soft voice. The small seven year old girl walked over to me. "Ar-are you okay?" She squeaked as tears began streaming down her face. I slowly sat up. My body was still trembling a little bit.

"Aki, I'm okay." I reached my thumb and began wiping her tears. "No you're not." She sniffled. "I'm fine." I pulled her into a hug and then she began to cry on my shoulder. "I won't let anyone hurt you." I said. "I promise, cause you're my family." I smiled.

Present

"Katy?" I heard Hiro's voice. I stopped smiling and turned my head. I glared at the plate of food he had as he placed it down in front of me. "I got you food." He sighed.

"You know who I am now. Awesome." I said emotionless. "Where's my sister?" I asked bitterly. "She's with Melody." He said quietly. "Let me see her." I said. "I can't let you-"

"Let me see her!" I yelled. "Please." I looked down as I began to cry.

"I'm sorry but I can't let anyone else in here." Hiro said. The both of you should be dead! I heard his voice as he punched my stomach. Katy! "Aki." I whispered remembering that I stabbed her. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Forgive me." I cried quietly.

"I'll be back." Hiro said before walking away and shutting the door. I sighed and fell on the ground crying.

After a while I heard the door open. "Katy!" I turned my head to see Aki. She helped me sit up. I could see Hiro was leaning on the wall though. She then uncuffed my hands but my ankle was still cuffed.

"Aki!" I hugged her. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you too sis." She smiled. I looked up at Hiro and whispered, thank you. He smiled still staying there.

We parted from our hug and I looked at her. "Guess I'm going to hell like dad said." I smiled. "Don't say that!" Aki said. "You're not going anywhere." She hugged me again. "But why did you do this?" She asked me. "I don't know." I sighed.

"Well you should get going now." I said stretching my arms out forward. She grabbed the hand cuffs and placed them back on.

She grabbed the key and walked to Hiro. She passed him the key and then ran over to me giving one last hug before running back.

"That's my girl." I smiled as the door closed.

Aki's P.O.V

I guess we all have our pathways. I sighed as I walked with Hiro.

"You okay?" He asked. I shrugged as I played with my fingers. "She's like my mom that's all." I said. "Also can I talk to you?" I asked. "Sure I guess." He said.

We sat on a bench inside the house. "I like that one villain girl, Star." I said. "So I'm guessing you want advice?" He said.

"Well, eh, I wanted Katy to be the first to know but yeah," I sighed. "So, do you have advice?" I asked. "First you have to know if she likes girls too or at least you. Second who she really is, though she reminds me of Ayumi. Third just be yourself is all I can say, cause I don't want you changing who you are for someone." Hiro smiled. "Thanks." I said.

He then walked upstairs.

"Hey." I turned to see my other sister, Y/N. "Haven't seen you in a while sis." I smiled. "I know." She smiled back. "I'm sorry about Katy." She hugged me. "It's fine. I just, I still can't believe she would do something like this." I sighed.

"I know." Y/N said. "Everyone's different I guess." She sighed. "What's up with you and your mom?" I asked. "I know its not just the fact of Summer."

"She never really liked me for being so smart. She was jealous of me." Y/N shrugged. "But why?" I asked. "She's always liked attention, and because I was so smart people would mostly pay attention to me." She explained.

"What about you and Melody?" I asked. "Nothing I guess. She just likes Hiro and now that I think about it. She told me she was gonna talk to him. I'll be back." Y/N said.

Y/N's P.O.V

I walked upstairs and into the room where I found Melody kissing Hiro. She was on top of him and he was struggling to get her off.

Yep this is exactly what I was expecting. I sighed before heading towards them.

"Nope. Come on Melody that's enough." I picked her up and placed her outside of the room. Then I slammed the door in her face.

"Well she's heavy." I said dusting myself off. "I know right?" Hiro said wiping his mouth. He stuck his tounge out in disgust.

"Go brush your teeth and your tounge." I said. "Good idea. I'll be right back." Hiro got up and walked over to the bathroom.

He then came out and I kissed him. "You should really be careful." I said smiling. "I know." He smiled. "Well I gotta go back to where Aki was." I said getting up from the bed. "Wait I'll go with you." Hiro pointed out.

"Good idea. Don't ya think?" I said. "Yeah that's why I said it." Hiro said. "Well let's go. I don't want to keep Aki waiting for too long." I said.

"Yeah, okay." He said.
