After Lucia left JJ she drove home knowing that she would be alone there. She went in her room taking one of Toms old hoodies she kept and changed into it. She also grabbed a box of cigarettes and a lighter and went to the garden. On her way out she grabbed a bottle of wine with a glass.

The girl just sat down at the patio next to the pool. Not too close though. She smoked while listening to some of her favourite music. She just needed to think right now and wine and the cigarettes would make that easier.
JJ's question was stuck in her mind "why would you meet him..." she wanted to close up with her past. A possibility to do so was to meet a new guy to get over Tom. But the second part of the question was confusing her because she didn't know an answer to that either "...after what he did to you?" She thought about it trying to find out why. Her head concocted a conclusion: Rafe didn't even do anything to her, he was actually helping her -that's what she told herself until she believed it. Matter of factly she was a victim he touched her against her will. But in everyone's eyes she was always considered as the problem so it was most likely -she thought- that she was the problem in this situation as well. I just overreacted.
She took a sip of the wine and went inside to get some old photos. Her therapist told her that she should stick to the positive memories of the past so that was what she was trying to do. She grabbed some photos and an album she actually bought as a gift for Tom. Now that he was dead she decided to keep it herself for the memory.
She sat back in the garden she took another sip of her wine. She looked at the first photo and on instant there was the fitting memory in her head...

Tom and Lucia had been dating for about two months. Jake already started to accept the fact that his little sister and his best friend were a thing. He would even admit that Tom helped her with her eating disorder. The photo was taken on the day the girl went to a body checkup at the hospital. The day she was classified as healed.
She was so happy to tell Tom and Jake and it made her even happier that the boys were so proud about her. It was definitely a happy day in her life.
