Nat and Lucy are going to interrogate Loki, and the team found out about SHIELDs secrets. Also, the Hulk is out of control. Will they be able to handle all of that?

Lucy:

Loki walked back and forth inside his glass cell, facing away from us. But then he stopped in his tracks.

"There's not many people that can sneak up on me."

He turned around with a smug smile on his lips. Nat hinted for me to come closer to him. I followed her lead and just watched, which was basically my task. I was supposed to learn from her methods.

"But you figured I'd come." Natasha said.

"Not with the Rookie, though..." Loki stated, looking right at me now as if he was considering something... Like I could be of use to him.

"I wanna know what you've done to Agent Barton."

"I'd say I've expanded his mind."

"And once you've won. Once you're king of the mountain. What happens to his mind?"

"Is this love, Agent Romanoff?"

Somehow, Loki's question made me feel uneasy. I bit my lip and tried not to get distracted by it.

"Love is for children. I owe him a debt."

Her answer made me gulp and feel relieved at the same time. I should've expected such an answer, and honestly, it wasn't my business. But still, I couldn't help but feel... kind of disappointed?

Loki sat down on the bench, which also functioned as a bed. The only furniture in his cell.

Nat pulled up a chair as well before telling her story.

"Before I worked for SHIELD, I uh... well, I made a name for myself. I have a very specific skill set. I didn't care who I used it for or on. I got on SHIELD's radar in a bad way. Agent Barton was sent to kill me. He made a different call."

I was standing right behind Nat and looked down at her back. Hearing a piece of her past was kind of interesting... for me, at least. But there was that... I don't know.. sad tone to it? Like I couldn't help but feel like hugging her or something, which of course I didn't do.

"And what will you do if I vow to spare him?"

"Not let you out."

I smirked ever so slightly. This was kind of smooth.

Even Loki chuckled, even laughed at her answer.

"Ah, no. But I like this. Your world in the balance, and you bargain for one man?"

"Regimes fall every day. I tend not to weep over that. I'm Russian... or was."

"What is it you want?"

"It's really not that complicated. I've got red in my ledger. I'd like to wipe it out."

So she got a dark past. I guess it made sense for a spy like her. I didn't mind, though. She seemed good to me now. Not like a killer. Like I think she wouldn't do such bad things anymore.

Loki smirked.

"Can you? Can you wipe out that much red? Drakov's daughter?"

That seemed to take Nat off guard. She didn't expect him to know much about her. On instinct, I stepped closer and put a hand on her shoulder. Without thinking, really...

"Sâo Paulo? The Hospital Fire? Barton told me everything. Your ledger is dripping, it's gushing red, and you think saving a man no more virtuous than yourself will change anything?" Loki stood up, looking very angry in that moment, "This is the basest sentimentality. This is a child at prayer. Pathetic!"
