Chapter three: Stuck in The Moment

You were woken up this morning at 6:00 am by the unbearable sound of the alarm on your phone.

You reach over your nightstand and grab it.

You lift your bed covers aside and step out of bed, the freezing wind of early dawn causes goosebumps to rise all over your body. The feeling made you hesitate to get out. But the thought of having a nice, warm, steamy shower entered your mind, and before you could properly think about it, your body was already moving towards your bathroom door.

Before getting in the shower you connected your Bluetooth speaker with your phone and set a playlist on Spotify.

You collect your hair, put it inside a shower cap, and take your earrings out so you can wash them properly. You set a 20-minute alarm, to alert you of when you should get out. You don't want to be late.

You then enter the fogged-up glass walls that surround your shower.

Once you feel the warm, calming hot water drip down your back you instantly loosen up. You stay like that for a few seconds before you start to shower.

You don't have enough time to wash your hair or deal with it after it's been washed. So you wash your body instead.

When you were finished, you closed the water, turned around, and got out of the shower. You took the creamy, white bathrobe that was hanging from one of your towel hooks and wrapped it around your body.

You then brushed your teeth, gargled mouthwash, and washed your face.

You washed your earrings with a coconut-scented soap and put them back on. You left the bathroom just in time for the alarm you set up to ring.

You put lotion all over your body and as you were waiting for it to dry, you picked out your uniform.

Once inside your walk-in closet, you opened one of the tall doors of the wooden wardrobe. You pick out a plain white button-up shirt, your green jumper, tie, and close the doors.

You move on to look for your green checkered skirt and socks in the drawers. You then grab your school shoes from one of the glass drawers near the floor.

You throw the pile of clothes on the little cushion you have at the center of the room and start getting dressed.

When you were done, you adjust your uniform in front of your full body mirror. You then go to your vanity, put on some very light makeup (your school doesn't allow its students to wear makeup) then you move on to your hair. You take it out of the shower cap and adjust it until it looks the way it usually does. You quickly spray a little perfume on your clothes, grab your backpack, shoes, and phone and head out the door.
