Bruno is graduating today. I can't even believe my baby boy, my first born, my beautiful son, is graduating.

What. The. Fuck. I can hardly believe it.

He walks up to the podium, microphone in hand and gives his speech. He's grown into such an amazing, well-rounded young man. Even though the school here is scared of my family, he worked for every bit of his success. He worked so hard. And I'll bet he will continue to for the rest of his life.

Everyone's at Alessio and Evangeline's house now. Bruno is in love with Evangeline's god- daughter, Vanessa. She moved here from America a couple years ago when Alessio and Evangeline got married. He loves her, it's so obvious, but no one knows how she feels about him. Not even Bruno knows, you can see it driving him crazy.

He comes and sits with me and Lia away from all the noise. Lia shuffles into his arms and he kisses her on the forehead. He's unable to take his eyes off of Vanessa. It's amusing and Evangeline and I smile at each other because she can see it too from a distance.

"I love her Mama."

"I know."

"What do I do? Do I tell her?"

"If that's what feels right Bruno, you should tell her."

"Does she even feel the same?"

"Probably. People express feelings in all sorts of ways."

"We're going to different universities though..." he whispers. I didn't realise how much this issue was bothering him. A lot, apparently. It's so cute.

"She loves you Bruno, she told me." Lia says with a giggle.

"She told you Lia? Did she?" He smiles and tickles her and she giggles.

"Yes but don't tell her I told you...she told me not to tell."

He stands up and walks over to her. "Do you want to walk down to the beach?" He asks her and they walks down the private path all the way down to the private beach. Adorable.

Salvador comes over.

"Is our son in love or what Mona?"

"Yes...he's so in love!" Lia says with a laugh. Salvador picks her up with a smile.

"One day you will be the same cheeky..." Salvador says in a bit of an annoyed tone.

"No I won't papa, the only man I love is you."

He scoffs, "I wish it would stay like that..."

Bruno

Fuck. How do I tell her? How do I find the words. Words aren't enough. Fuck. Fucking shit. I should've asked my mum.
