Jim Moriarty, the world's consult criminal, actually has two siblings, Jake and Joan Moriarty. After the death of their beloved brother, Jake bears hatred to the world's consult detective, Sherlock Holmes, and becomes the next one to seat on his br...
I called John and invited him to come over for a tea, completely following Ella's advice. Though I'm doing good with the cases without him, it was still different. My blogger wasn't there to record it like the old times and years ago. But, maybe, I was also glad that he wasn't there to witness the whole scenario of Ella's outsmarting me. And it's all over the newspapers and media. It was tedious.
"Thank you, Sherlock." I gave John his tea and he receives it with both hands on his armchair, leaving the folded newspaper on the arm of his chair. 'THE CONSULT DETECTIVE GOT LOST IN THE CASE: A Woman Led Him Back To The Right Scent' was the headline in its front page. It was also covered with articles with a different topic yet related either to my unsuccessful case or Ella Gunther. One has the title of 'Sherlock Holmes got himself a new crime-solving partner?' while some were little bit far off like, 'The Female Detective: The Consult Detective's Girlfriend or Partner?'.
Darn, what would Jenine think of this?
"So, how's the married life?" I sat on mine and stitched my fingers, ready for a coversation when he slurps his tea loudly to catch my attention. He tries to taste the tea at the tip of his tongue and lips. He holds both the saucer and cup seperatedly."So fine and so great. I think you should try one." He replies with a snicker, yet the tea still bothered him somehow. I just thought of creating my sort of tea. I thought he would appreciate it.
"Very amusing of you, John." I roll my eyes, ignoring his humor.
"Did you just prepare tea for me?" He points his tea in confusion.
"My very own black tea with bergamot flavor." I beam with pride.
"Sherlock, that's still Earl Grey tea."
"Yes, and invited my bestfriend for a tea. You know, just relaxing."

"Relaxing..." He repeated, "Like just sitting here instead of going somewhere else?"
I move my head for a big nod. "Yep, just staying here and talk."
He nodded too but slowly and unsurely. I've waited for atleast 3 seconds to say what I actually wanted to say for these past months. I sucked the air before exhaling it with words on it.Timingly he stares at me and I grabbed my chance. "...But, I'd like to ask how would you like to go back solving cases with me again?" He drops his tea cup on the table and hands on his knee caps all before I finished my sentence. Uncomfortable, judging by his hard sigh and pressure on his palms towards his knee caps, he was expecting something like this from me. "I'm...I'm sorry, Sherlock. I'd love to, but, I can't. I just can't. Ding it, I knew you would ask." He replies.
"...Appointment with the doctor and honeymoon? Honestly, John, you're a doctor." I snort.
"Why it's---yes, appointment with the doctor and honeymoon. How did you know about the honeymoon?"
