(Joan's POV)

Sleeping in bed wearing light brown sando and pyjamas under the sheets, I was caught in such trance somehwere in the middle of the night. "Jim...Jake..." I mumbled in a very unsteady voice while dreaming. I dreamt of a memory and I could feel my sweat streaming on my body.

"Why was the crown and jewelries being kept in a glass box, James? Wasn't it supposed to be used in a king's head and neck?" I asked, turning my head to him as my little pigtails on both sides of my head bounces a little. He just smiled and flattened my hair with his soft hand. "We don't have a king, sis. Just the queen and I don't know why should it be in a glass box. I'll find out someday for you."

As a 5-year-old girl with an icecream, I only just nod and hold his hand. Jake was too busy to mind his surroundings for an icecream. Jim spent his spare savings to buy us a treat and takes us for a walk in a warm afternoon.

"This icecream sure taste great." Jake muttered while licking the chocolate flavored icecream. "Jake! You're not supposed to ruin your shirt with icecream stains. Mrs. Belvet will surely punish us." He scolded Jake who whined at his scolding. "It's not my fault if this icecream is delicious." He grumbled, wiping his dirty mouth with his shirt that makes Jim more mad at him.

I walked near to the kids who were playing princesses and knights. All the girls were on their pretty dresses and crowns on their head like a princess. Boys wearing silver painted cartons as their armor. I watched them with the feeling of wanting to join with them, holding the cone with two hands. One of them recognizes me standing there and informs the rest. They are all watching me with no interest, I gave them all a smile.

A brunette girl came to me and folded her arms like she wasn't appreciating my presence. Two other girls followed her as well. "What are you doing here, little girl? What do you want?" She raises her eyebrow.

"I want to join." I innocently replied.

"Only a princess can join."

"I'm a princess, my brother told me so."

She slaps my icecream and it fell to the ground. I'm starting to be scared. "You're not a princess and you can never join us. You're just a kid with no friends!" And there she pushed me to the ground and I started to whimper. "You're a loser! Loser! Loser! Loser!" She pointed at me and all the children laughed. Both of my brothers came to the rescue, driving away the children.

Later, Jim returned with something on his hand. "I got this crown for you." He showed me a plastic crown. I kept on crying and he kneels down to wipe it. "Don't cry anymore, aren't you my little saint and princess?" He said softly, stroking my cheeks. He reaches for the crown and placed it on my head. "There. Oh what a pretty princess. Aren't I right, Jake?" He pokes Jake to say something. "Of course, our sister is indeed a pretty princess. She owns the crown and the jewelries in the glass box." Jake agreed.

My eyes twinkled and I looked at Jim. "Really?" I squeaked and he nodded.

"Someday, you will have that crown on your head and jewelries on your neck and they will call you queen. And I'll be the king."

"How about me?"

"You'll be the court jester, Jake."

I chuckled and Jake gave him a glare. "Of course, you will be my advisor or general that leads the army someday." Jim added to cheer his mood. "That sounds better." Jake sighed.

"Is the queen ready to go back to her enchanted palace?" He reaches his hand towards me and I accepted it. Actually, it wasn't an enchanted palace. It wasn't a home either.
