Tara

flashback

I squealed, being span around by Matt.

"Babe, I have something to tell you." He sat me down on his knee, being very gentle with me. His ocean blue eyes meeting my eyes.

"What is it?" I asked. Fearing I already knew the question.

We need to break up..

That's what they always say. Just as you fall for them, they make sure they don't catch you.

"I kinda slept with another girl... Last night... I was drunk, a-and I thought it was you." He mumbled tears rolling down his cheeks. I closed my eyes taking a deep breath. "Please don't hate me.."

He was generally sorry.

He almost always meant the sorry's he gave out.

"Matt..." I whispered.

"I love you Tara.." He stood up sitting me on his sofa, in his house, in which he fucked someone in.. Not me. Some other girl.

"If you loved me, you wouldn't of gotten that drunk in the first place, and fucked someone." I replied. Trying my hardest to keep my calm.

"Tara, baby pleas-"

"Matt, you called?" A girl with pure black hair, icy blue eyes and a crap ton of make up on... Instead of clothes.

"She doesn't even look like me.." I stood up. The girl that just walked in lighting the fuse to my bomb. And damn it was a small one. "How could you?!" I screamed. Running upstairs to his room. Where the girls underwear lay on the bed. Where he fucked her. I grabbed clothes, ripped pictures of us up, and put my belongings that I needed into a bag. I grabbed my pennyboard. Pushed past the protesting Matt. The now ex-boyfriend and out of the house.

.

I was sat in the room of my friends house Becky for weeks straight. I ate. I drank. I slept. I didn't cry. I didn't see sunlight. I didn't see anyone.

"Tara, you know you need to come out." Becky mumbled through the door.

Oh yeah.

I hadn't had human contact in a week.

"No. You know I won't."I huffed. The same questions on my mind.

Did I like being free?

Or,

Did I make the right decision?

Flashback end.

I squealed as Matt tickled me. The room in darkness. Only illuminated by a few candles. It was cute. Romantic even. He eben had a little picknick. Since the weather forecast drastically changed, and it was currently thundering and lightening.

The news came on, as he pushed the control as he picked it up.

"The plane from Australia holding about 150 people has lost communication with us due to the storms.. Flight 182 has been told as a 'murder case' for now, as the security now realises there were hidden guns in the children's teddy's as a nine year old girl was forced onto a plane with two women." Matt's lips pulled away from mine, his hands on my hips.
