" 'we don't know each other at all but we got pushed up against each other in this mosh pit and they there' au . . . " - otp_prompts on twitter.

[  i have never been in a mosh pit so i don't know what it's like so please bare with me and excuse the mess that is this drabble ]

                               [ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  ]

This was his first major concert, and to be honest, it was a little terrifying. Sure he had been to other concerts, but they were small, usually for indie bands that had just started out, ones with only a hundred or so people. But this one, this one was big. There had to be at least nearly two thousand people there.

And a mosh pit, or pits, he wasn't sure what was happening on the other sides of the crowd. There were people smashing into each other, and didn't seem to be bothered by the fact they were bleeding or bruising. People were flailing around and some not worrying about who they were swinging themselves at. It was a little amusing to watch. Scorpius had hopped out of the way a few times as the circle grew bigger, not wishing to get himself best up and return home like that, his dad wouldn't let it him come back, let alone kill him for "joining in with the ludicrous antics". He. Had hardly been allowed to come in the first place.

He was going to return with small inflictions anyway, as the music got heavier, the jumping, shoving, and pushing of the people around him did as well. He had joined in on that, he wasn't going to lie, it gave him a rush. The whole thing was an adrenaline kick; being around people screaming the same lyrics as you in your ear, jumping around, even if the music slowed down and the other concert goers did too, it was still the same feeling.

Nothing was going to slowing down anytime soon, however.

Scorpius felt another body hit him, and he didn't really mind it, but this time the body didn't bounce back off. Scorpius hadn't even realized that the space around him had become a little tighter. He looked down at the person, the girl, who was pushed against him. She was still jumping around, a wide grin spread across her face. Her red hair was pulled into a ponytail, clipped to her head and her bangs bounced a bit as she moved. Some hair sticked out here and there, frizzy from the head. Her freckled skin, that he could see uncovered from the band shirt and shorts she wore, glistened with a slight layer of sweat. Bracelets with little charms made small noises as they hit each other on her wrists.

Scorpius was a bit Sweden by her, and being a boy, continued to stare at her. A slight panic went through him as she stopped moving for a moment, turning to look back at him.

"What?" She asked, one eyebrow raised at the boy.
"I don't know..." Scorpius told her, shrugging.

A soft laugh escaped the female next to him as she reached down to grab his hand and started jumping around again, Scorpius following her a moment later, a grin of his own spread along his lips.
