nini has been waiting to see if she got the part 'gabriella' in high school musical, the musical.

shes been pretty nervous you could say, this was nini's dream role. even as a little kid watching hsm she'd always point at the screen and say.

"i wanna be her, i wanna be her mommy!"

it was pretty adorable, but today was the day that she found out if her dreams would come true.

on the other hand, ricky actually forgotten about the musical, he was to caught up in basketball, parties, lily. the normal stuff for him.

he didnt enjoy it, but he thought he had no other choice. his life was a cycle of shit he didnt care about.

he forgot about the kiss with nini, as he was dragged into being with lily.

"aaaah! today is the day yall!" nini squealed to her friends.

"girl your so gonna get it! i can already see you in the gabriella dress!" kourtney said with a huge grin.

nini felt super happy surrounded with her best friends.

as nini was talking to her friends, she was wondering if ricky was gonna turn up to see if he got his role, but he was no where to be seen.

ricky was at basketball practice, working hard as usual. he had a big game coming up so he had to work pretty hard.

"all students that auditioned for the musical please report to the main hall now, i repeat all students that auditioned for the musical please report to the main hall." the speaker announced.

ricky turned his body to the speaker as fast as he could.

"shit." he whispered.

ricky grabbed his bag and ran out of the pe hall.

ricky ran pretty fast through the school until he made it to the main hall that all the theatre kids were standing.

nini heard someone running and turned round from her conversation with seb and carlos.

nini saw ricky standing there panting and gasping for air.

she gave him a small smile but he wasnt even looking at her.

"alright alright thespians, its time to find out if you made it, or if you.. didnt." miss jenn announced.

the petite woman put a peice of paper on the wall and everyone ran up to it, reading what part they got.

nini went up and saw the best thing to ever happen in her life on that paper.

nini looked at the paper and her jaw dropped.

"i-i GOT THE PART?" nini shouted with pure joy.

"omg i got sharpay!"

"she thinks im a chad?!"

"ooo im taylor, yay!"

everyone was full of excitement reading their parts, some left disappointed.

ricky watched nini as she was jumping up and down with her friends, he felt happy for the girl too.

ricky walked over to the sheet expecting some background character.

ricky read the sheet to see that he got the main lead, troy bolton.

and read that nini got gabriella montez.

ricky grew a smile on his face, he was pretty proud of himself.

until he realised, hes gonna have to play nini's love interest.

nini saw the boy walking back from the paper and they both made eye contact.

"congrats." nini said with a genuine smile.

"you too." is all ricky said, but giving back the smile.

"congrats bro!"

"well done ricky!"

"congratulations."

everyone congratulated ricky and nini for getting the main roles.

they both were extremely happy, but nervous to play eachother's love interest.

especially after last week.

after everyone posted about their parts, nini recieved a notification.

"ricky bowen has followed you..?" nini whispered to herself.

nini was kind of shook, i mean. she didn't expect him to follow her or anything.

she just thought he used her, and will use her for this college acceptance.

nini decided to follow him back anyways.
